-Working with concerned parties on our data, information, reports and strategies in
order to apply them in the right way in many scenarios for planning for the upcoming
decades, learn from our lessons learned, and apply them in planning criteria to meet
our future supply-demand quantities at all purposes.
-Updating the reports and plans which are related to the Strategic Planning in the water
sector with the stakeholders, such as facts and figures, the water situation in Jordan,
water demand policy as well. Also, working on creating a new strategy for WD and on
our Result Based Action Plan.
-Working on the indicators which are related to the sixth goal of UN Agenda: "Clean
Water and Sanitation" to transform our world by 2030. As well as, participating in many
committees and conferences through the WASH cluster to apply our TOC.
-Writing technical proposals and letters of interest for many projects for obtaining the
targeted grants in order to realize our visions and meet our mandate in the sector.
-Acting as a focal point for various projects like Water and Environment Support (WES)
and the 3rd National Master Plan. Moreover, contributing as a facilitator for many
consultative events.
-Cooperating and working on the cross cutting themes with our Affairs such as (Water
Harvesting in Urban and Rural Areas, NRW, Water Reallocation, Climate Change, WASH
Cluster at many UN Agencies, World Bank, USAID, and other NGOs and CSOs).-Working
Supervision on our megaprojects around the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as Water Authority delegates like Wadi Arab Water system II, The Improved access to water, distribution performance in Irbid governorate for host communities and Syrian refugees, and The DISI Water Conveyance Project (BOT) as below:
- Writing technical proposals for the projects to presenting them for donors to get the grant and loans that we need to realize our visions and met our mandate in the water sector. Besides Contribute to achieving the global sustainable development goals, especially the sixth goal Clean Water and Sanitation through aiming and implementing projects that met the global goals need to Transforming our world by 2030.
- Participate in preparing TOR, bid documents for Mega-projects, and participate in the evaluation committee of the technical and financial offers.
- Preparing specialized statistical studies and analyses to fully planning for the water sector in the upcoming decades, based on the Hydrological studies to estimate the feasibility by using special kinds of software such as (Arc Gis, Geodin, and Ms Visio).
- I participate in many committees to update the water sector policies, the National Water Strategy plan, and the study under the title (The rapid assessment of the consequences of declining resources availability and exploitability for the existing water supply infrastructure) by GIZ Project (Management of Water Resources).
Update the National Water Strategy plan, and I have been involved in the preparation of the MWI Annual Water Budget of Jordan. Furthermore, Also, acting as counterpart From the Ministry of Water and Irrigation with INGO, on their projects, like (BGR) and (GIZ) as below:
-I work on updating all the reports are related to the Policies and Strategic Planning Directorate, such as facts and figures, water situation in Jordan, updating policies, Result Based Action Plan and yearbook.
-I worked with the BGR project team to establish updated studies on the areas where water can be found so that wells can be drilled to meet the increasing water demand.
-Cooperate with (GIZ) project team (Management of Water Resources Water Master Plan & WEAP) to update the master plan of Ministry and their action plan it will need to Improve exploitability of available water resources, available water supply infrastructure, and published our report (Wellfields fact sheets 2020).
-I had participated in many indoor and outdoor committees, like the Basalt wellfield committee.
-Attending many indoor and outdoor conferences such as (Regional Consultative Technical Meeting-FAO) that were held in Cairo, Egypt January-2020 as a Ministry representative, and many workshops related to the water sector like (Transboundary Water Governance and Management-MEDRC) were held in Zurich, Switzerland July-2019, and (The drought vulnerability and impact assessment Facilitate by UNDP).
Worked with technical cooperation project (Improved Groundwater Resources Management in Response to the Syrian Refugee Crisis, I-GWRM) with the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) my main responsibilities were:
-Part of wellfield management plan working team for Wadi-Al Arab, Coridor, and Aqeb wellfield.
-Collecting of data from reports, literature, official database, etc.
-Preparing maps using Arc Gis and other software, such as Geodin, Surfer, etc.
-Carry out field visits and conduct general and geoscientific measurements, analyze and interpret data.
-Write field notes and geoscientific reports.
I worked as a Specialist Studies & Consultation on the following tasks during my work such as:
-Site Investigations for many projects.
- prepared Geotechnical reports and technical and financial offers for many projects.
- I implemented Geotechnical characterization for many types of soil and rocks.
- worked as a Public Safety Committee member facilitated by the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
I worked as a Research Assistant on the titled project "A study on the long-term engineering properties of cement dust stabilized soil " in the Geotechnical field and on projects that specialized in the hydrology field at the Department of Geology. my main responsibilities were:
-Prepared Geotechnical characterization for many types of soil.
-Geopolymer samples.
-Collecting data from reports, literature, official databases, etc.
-Write field notes and hydrology reports.
