- Monitor on going repair at the workshop and see to it that it was repair in accordance with the standard. Secure necessary parts for breakdown equipment
- Technical knowledge in repair and maintenance of all Light and Heavy Machinery.
- Assign mechanic their daily job assignment and sets priority.
- Ensure that all units are operational and less breakdown percent.
- Administered the mechanical systems and scrutinized mechanical failures.
- Ministered technicians and technologists as well as coordinated with suppliers.
- Supervised testing activities.
- Conducted research and established standards for efficient production.
- Resolved automotive technical problems.
- Ability to visualize changes required by the engineer.

- Reviewing parts request for completeness and accuracy, orders all required parts as per specification with proper documents of repair procedures preventive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment/vehicles are kept in safe and reliable operating condition.
- Monitor mechanics ability to detect by inspection any worn-out defective or improperly adjusted part of the assembly, determine necessary procedures and parts required to complete repairs, keep records of repair and service operations and to complete reports.
- control the preventive maintenance schedule available on the service stickers as well as on maintenance plan record to view operator & drivers the condition of the equipment, corrective maintenance monitoring by odometer, running hours reading with daily checklist, record available to the daily reports

1. Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors the staff regarding the technical aspects through formal and informal channels
2. Provide competent solutions to the technical problems encountered by the department such as machinery breakdowns, maintenance of existing supply lines, bunkering implements, etc.
3. Provide support to the Senior Operations Manager regarding procedures/project proposals and evaluate feasibility.
4. Generate ideas for improving technical competitiveness of the department.

Operational Responsibilities/ Duties:
1. Ensuring adherence of all to UCC policies.
2. Collection of data and providing data analysis to identify deviations and anomalies in the data gathered. Providing reports such as the International Trips file, fuel surveys for sub-contractors, suppliers, rentals, and company owned vehicles, vessels and equipment.
3. Applies knowledge of engineering principles to test and analyze engines of vehicles, vessels and equipment.
4. Involved with fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical implements.
5. Undertaking other assignments as required by Senior Management.
6. Daily inspection & maintain the (fuel pipe line, tanks, pumps, flow meter, fuel dispenser…etc.) in good, safe and proper conditions.
7. Maintain an organized and accurate filing system for the records of fuel received and fuel deliveries to sub-contractors, UCC owned and rented vessels, vehicles and equipment.
Study the fuel consumption of all bunkered TGBs, boats, vehicles and kept under the range of line.
8. Keep the bunkering barge always in good condition by daily inspection, following and planning schedule time for bunkering.
9. Coordinating with site costing regarding the invoicing the sub-contracting & supplier.
10. Submit the weekly, Monthly Report to sr. Management.
