Overseeing project procurement activities and most important the approval of MIR (Materials Inspection Request) from the Consultant/Client which is needed to issue the project billing. Close monitoring of MIR approval and communication with the Consultant, Client, Project Engineering Team, Project QC Team and suppliers/vendors to finalize the MIR requirements.
Leading/managing a procurement team, reviewing tenders/quotations from potential suppliers, negotiating prices, evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures, agreeing/approving contracts, researching and identifying new products and suppliers, working across departments to win best value for the company, ensuring suppliers deliver on time, keeping up with market trends, making key final decisions. Monitor supplier and vendor compliance with contractual agreements. Manage risk relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases. Coordinate and follow up with financial Department all payments of the suppliers and the method of payments as agreed in purchase orders.
Tracking and coordinating with site construction team the progress of the project on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the project is on-track. Coordinating with site construction team for planning, organizing and control of flow of materials from their initial purchase to destination on site. Follow up with procurement and commercial team the purchase orders preparation, payments and delivery to site. Monitor purchase orders status. Assure prompt and dependable delivery.

Leading the engineering team for the design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
Follow up, supervise and approve the work done by the engineering team and act as technical reference point. Review and verify preliminary design according to codes, standards and contract requirements. Ensure error free concepts, design and material specifications/selection with minimum costs. Optimize the section workflow, the design output and the use of resources. Involved in the preparation of shop drawings and material technical submittals. Review and approve inquiries and purchase orders. Coordination with site construction team during execution.
Project: Power Projects
Qurayyah Simple Cycle Power Plant, Riyadh Power Plant No. 10, Qurayyah Combined Cycle Power Plant, Qaseem Power Plant Ext II and Ext III.
HVAC and plumbing design for the non-technical buildings in the project. HVAC Load calculation. Preparation of plumbing and HVAC shop drawings. Materials and equipment inquiries, selection, technical submittals and procurement. Coordination with site construction team .

Leading the engineering team, based in Jeddah Head Office, whose responsibility is to coordinate the engineering and procurement activities between the designer/sub-contractors/suppliers and the client.
Team leader responsible for the preparation of shop drawings and material selection and submittals. Coordination between head office, site, designer, consultant and main contractor.

Northwest and Southwest Bulk Plants - Two Grades of Gasoline and Additional Capacity Requirements.
Responsible for the coordination of the fire fighting scope of work between the client (ARAMCO) and the vendors providing the design and material.
Power Substations Projects.
Senior Mechanical Design Coordinator in power projects (Turn Key Substations) for the Saudi Electric Company - Eastern and Western Region. Responsibilities are to study carefully the scope of work (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting), specifications, and to check the design done by the engineering design office. Responsible for the material selection/submittals/procurement and follow up with suppliers for technical issues and delivery. Coordination between other engineering disciplines. Meeting with client, consultant, suppliers and subcontractors.
Power Substations Projects.
Mechanical Design Coordinator in power projects (Turn Key Substations) for the Saudi Electric Company - East and West Region. My responsibilities are to study carefully the scope of work (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting), specifications, and to check the design done by the engineering design office. The engineering design office is a subcontractor (approved by client) whose responsibility is to prepare the base design, detailed design, and all required calculations for the project. Responsible for the material selection/submittals/procurement and follow up with suppliers for technical issues and delivery. Coordination between other engineering disciplines. Meeting with client, consultant, suppliers and subcontractors.
Electro-Mechanical Projects.
Mechanical Technical Engineer in the Technical Department.
Reviewing the Client/Consultant Design Drawings and Project Specifications. Preparation of Shop Drawings and Material Technical Submittals. Verifying HVAC Load Calculation and Plumbing Calculation based on the prepared Shop Drawings.
Liaison and Coordination with Client, Consultant, Architect and other Disciplines Engineers.
King Fahd International Airport, Air Cargo Terminal - Dammam.
Site Mechanical Technical Engineer.
Preparation of Shop Drawings and material/equipment technical submittals. Preparation of Pre-Operational Test Procedures for Equipment and systems (HVAC, Plumbing). Supervision of installation, start-up and Pre-Operational testing of HVAC (DX and Chilled Water) and Plumbing systems. Performing walk-down with the client representative. Preparation of O&M Manuals, Equipment Manuals and As-Built Drawings.
Electro-Mechanical / Residential Projects.
