Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration
• Efficiently install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot issues on LAN/WAN including wireless LAN Controller and Access points, routers and switches.
• Responsible for installing the Cisco and Sonicwall firewall; configure firewall traffic rules, install data encryption programs.
• Utilize tools like Mobicall to quickly respond to issues/events on the network.
• Review issues; perform root cause analysis to solve issues. Resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expertise in configuring VPN Connection to ensure network security and privacy.
• Installed Anti-Virus on servers. Ensure that all licenses are renewed on time.
• Monitor and check logs to detect/avoid intrusions. Carry out tests on the security infrastructure to validate the solutions.
• Provide regular status reports and suggestions/recommendations on the security systems to the senior management.
• Collaborate with senior network engineers and team to define the organizations security policy.
• Supervised activities related to changes in the network hardware and software.
• Researched the latest information technology (IT) security trends and network Tools/Technology.
• Regularly monitored and collected information on network performance, utilization and configuration. Proactively identified and managed potential issues.
Microsoft Server Administration
• Configure Active Directory, tasks include create and manage user/ user groups; directory DNS administration; managing computer accounts, shared folders, printers and configuring Windows server to act as a Certificate Authority.
• Efficiently managed resources on Hyper V; experience in configuring VMware Servers.
• Carried out regular backup and recovery of file servers/data servers using Symantec NetBackup.
Communication Systems/ IP Telephony
• Configure and Troubleshoot of Unified Communications Systems and Voice Gateway, VoIP PBX.
• Configure various PBX features including Voice mail, Auto Attendant, Call routing, Callbacks, Announcements.
• Responsible for complete day-to-day operations of PBX, Voice Gateways, UC, network Switch and E1s Line.
• Supervise Cisco Agent Desktop which was integrated with the Cisco Unified Contact Center for multisite IP based centers.
Managing Access Control and CCTV
• Expertly oversee security and safety within the facility through video surveillance; experience in design and configure of CCTV solution (DVR, NVR). Utilize Samsung Security Manager (SSM) for video management.
• Ensure optimal performance of CCTV cameras and Recording station.
• Promptly investigate and address security issues of users; conduct tests to look for vulnerabilities in the system.

KEY ACADEMIC COURSEWORK: • High Speed Intrusion detection system (IDS) (Graduation Project at Jordan University of Science & Technology). The IDS System enhances Network Security and Reliability. It was developed in Linux Kernel Modules to achieve high capture and processing speed. It monitors network traffic to detect attacks and send alarms to the network administrator. The System detects ARP Poisoning, DHCP Spoofing, DNS Spoofing, Session Hijacking and TCP Port Scan.
