• Took part in launching several new brands in the Egyptian market such as Lindt & Sprüngli Swiss chocolates, Cote D’or Belgium chocolates & Daim Swedish chocolates.
• Develop necessary marketing plan/business plan and get necessary approvals from the brand owner.
• Take part in forecasting the annual targets and IMS and review forecast quarterly.
• Ensure successful implementation of the marketing strategies as per the criteria agreed by the brand owner.
• Ensure the right positioning, pricing and image for our range of products.
• Conduct necessary orientation sessions for sales teams and merchandisers to increase their product knowledge and brand awareness.
• Develop, implement and control the trade marketing budgets and KPI’s and evaluate effectiveness of activities.
• Daily follow up with the sales operations in the different channels and regions.
• Work closely with other departments (clearing - warehouses - delivery - financing ) to ensure a better and smooth operation.
• Conducts periodical market visits to ensure the availability, right positioning and visibility of our products.
• Ensure continues communication with our partners including monthly S&S, IMS and A&P budget reports and keeping them aliened with competitor’s activities & price changes if any.
• Conduct Bi-quarterly reports to review the P&L of the whole portfolio.
