Responsibilities:
- Part time job.
- Inspection of workflow and quality control of products.
- Random sample analysis.
- Issuance of a laboratory analysis certificate for products intended for export.
Logistics:
- Prepare all documents related to the procurment process (Simple purchase or tender) starting from Request quotes ending by prepare the payments.
- Carry out day-to-day logistical functions of the program including, but not limited to: supporting logistical activities such as procurement, supply chain, stock management, warehousing, transport, facilities, communication.
- Ensure to supply all items, service and equipment to the right destination area (Aleppo, rural Idlib and Hama)
- Fleet monitoring, and check fuel log for MEDAIR car.
- Sharing program team to open the technical offers for tenders.
- Monthly supplier data base update.
- Preparing lists of contractors and suppliers and conducting a periodic and continuous evaluation of contractors applying for tenders and all works of MEDAIR.
- Matching the offers with the BOQ that related for rehabilitation projects.
- Preparing payments for suppliers and checking invoices and quantities required for all materials and works executed for MEDAIR.
- Liaising with the area manager to provide effective logistical support to the projects and the field teams.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with MEDAIR guidelines and procedures and according to any donor requirements.
- Carry out frequent and thorough checks on the quality of equipment and supplies, ensuring that items are maintained in a good condition and that MEDAIR is receiving 'value for money' on items purchased.
- Work with relevant team members and field management, within the context of the local environment, to ensure the security of the MEDAIR base and of all MEDAIR property and equipment.
- Vehicle Control: Responsibility for driving, with ultimate care and security. Driving will include but is not limited to, MEDAIR employees to meetings and field sites etc. and transporting project or base related supplies to required locations.
- Security: General awareness of security procedures and guidelines in place; abide by them and report any security-related incidents or risks/threats to the main Security Focal Point (SFP)
Administration:
- Ensure a clear and transparent paper trail is in place for all logistical transactions, that records are kept in an orderly and timely fashion and that the filing (archive) system is in line with MEDAIR and donor requirements.
- Contribute, as required by Area Manager and Damascus team, to the accurate and timely reporting of activities e.g. through weekly and monthly reports.
- Follow-up with other departments for any missing documents.

- Implement the procurement plan.
- To run the procurement process for the area office requests and ensure it is compliant with the organization regulations.
- Ensure that accurate filling systems, with documented and supported records of supply chain activities are kept in the folders and uploaded on the supply chain share point for control and audit purposes.
- Timely process the payments for all completed good, service, work and send to finance for payment.
- Ensure that logistics system in the area is robust and flexible enough to cope with the support in case of an increase in the program activities.
- Market survey on regular basis to analyze the trend and ensure that DRC gets the best value for money.
- Ensure physical count of assets is conducted on time as per SOP.
- Provide a monthly report on the asset condition.
- Ensure that procured goods are received and meets the specification.
- Share with the relevant managers the weekly stock report.
- Ensure weekly movement plans are in place.
