- Prepare reports on commercial and economic relations between MENA countries.
- Analyze Economic policy issues related to international issues.
- Provide information advice for local and international bodies about the region economy, Investment regulations, and relevant economic issues.
- Maintain a wide range of contacts and relations with government, private sector, NGOs and international organizations.
- Participate in seminars and workshops covering subjects in politics, economics, environment, energy, oil industry, agriculture, telecommunications, e-commerce, e-banking and e-government.
- Reviewing reports from media, government, international organizations, and keep a media database.
- Select all the Data and Information needed for Market Analysis purposes.

- Mini-library housing trade and industry related reference materials published by government departments and industrials and trade organizations.
- Bulletin board to publicize SME-related activities.
- Computer terminals for free access to trade and industry related electronic databases.
