DP World's largest ongoing development in Terminal 3, Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE;

Dammam 2nd Container Terminal EPC design, detailed design review and supervision for PSA, Saudi Arabia;

Aqaba port advisory services for Aqaba Development Corporation, Jordan;

King Abdullah Economic City Port, Design review and Ro-Ro Terminal planning, for the Ports Development Authority, Saudi Arabia;

DP World Maputo port planning and design, Mozambique;

Mauritius Container Terminal planning, detailed design and construction services for Mauritius Ports Authority, Mauritius;

Dhow Wharfage Development in Deira Corniche, planning, detailed design and supervision for Dubai Municipality, Dubai, UAE;

Jazan Economic City Port planning and EPC design for JEC, Saudi Arabia... and others.

* Sharjah Airport International Free (SAIF) Zone - 108, 000 sq.m of hot rolled structural steel warehouses,
* Structural advice and guidance during the design/construction supervision of the Mall of the Emirates post-tensioned bridges and reinforced soil elevated roads (260m long), Al-Hamra arch bridges (about 200m long), and Nujoom Island bridges concept design (12 post-tensioned bridges),

- Led a number of successful consultancy services tenders.

Managing the Tender and Estimation Dept. Tenders won include:

* Sharrjah International Airport Expansion and Re-development (Dhs 227 M),
* Palace for H H Chairman of Dubai Municipality (Dhs 350 M),
* Mall of the Emirates - Elevated Roads Contract (Dhs 21M),
* Tender analysis and alternative design proposals.
* Checking the structural design, preparation of technical submission and advice on civil works costing for Dubai LRT Project (Red and Green Lines).

Bridges Agent and Senior Structural Engineer:

* Development, checking and passing the approval of over 850 shop drawings for 4 post-tensioned concrete bridges (2 in Interchange 4 area and 2 in Souq Al-Nakheel Area), including piling details, bearings, piers and abutments, deck reinforcement and post-tensioning profiles, all bar bending schedules, expansion joints and scaffolding works for 950m length of bridges including the longest bridge currently in Dubai (330m single bridge structure).

* Design of all temporary works including 2 main steel structures allowing the construction of bridge spans over the live traffic of Sheikh Zayed Road, and the supporting structure for the demolition of existing bridge of Interchange 4.

* Human resources and machinery allocation and management for bridge construction. Cash flow monitoring and enhancement for bridge works.

* Supervision of all main bridge works and large concrete pours.

* Design of GRP moulds for irregular shapes of pier columns.

* Structures-related material procurement and rental schedules. Shutters and scaffolding movement.

* Detailed work execution and recovery programs for bridge-related works and enforcing their application on site.

* Co-ordinating all bridge-related works with the Consultant (M/s Parsons) and with the other roads and services disciplines.

Design, detailing and co-ordination with client for the construction of all water-retaining structures in the project including 13m deep buried intake structure, 23m diameter elevated mushroom water tank, flat slab semi-buried 50m sq. balancing/contact tank, axi-symmetric aerator, flocculation tank, lamella qualifiers and gravity filters. Structural design and detailing of a pedestrian arch bridge opened during the Commonwealth Games, September, 1998.

Dynamic eigen-value analysis of the 144 bridge stays for the computation of cable forces utilising the dynamic excitation non-destructive test results. Work was done for the Institute of Public Works, IKRAM (through C&H Engineering Consultants) and verified by W S Atkins. Client: Malaysian Highway Authorities.
• Prangin Mall Investigation - Penang Island, Malaysia (1997)
Structural Advisor to the Institute of Public Works (IKRAM) - through C&H Engineering Consultants - in the investigation of the wide-scale cracking problem of 344 houses around the Prangin Mall in George Town, Penang Island. Responsible for checking the adequacy of the temporary strengthening measures to ensure structural safety, advising on repair methodology, creating and implementing a computer visual data base for the automated monitoring of cracking activity.
• Bridge Over River Damansara, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (1996)
Design and detailing of 100m long 4-span pre-stressed concrete bridge for access to airport control tower building.
• Changlun-Kuala Perlis Expressway, North Malaysia (1996)
Design of 3 two-span pre-stressed concrete bridges over twin irrigation canals. Site inspection.
• Privatisation Proposal for the Maintenance of All Federal Bridges in Malaysia (1996).
• Melaka Prison Complex Privatisation Proposal, Melaka (1996)
Conceptual design of the prison complex.
• Integrated Agricultural Development Programme of Pahang State, Malaysia (1995)
Detailed design of 5 multiple and single-span pre-stressed concrete bridges for access roads.
