Designation : Q.C manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• inspection of infrastructural network such as drainage, sewer, storm, potable water & district cooling network.
• inspection of GRP pipeline duct iron pipe (laying, bedding testing & backfilling)
• inspection of concrete work of manhole, inspection chamber & catch basin.
• monitor subcontractor QA/QC activities.
• follow sample of martial delivered at site & responsible for the enter to laboratory testing.
• Prepare WIR (work inspection request) for the completion work at site.
• Fix & Close NCR (nonconformance report) & SOR (site observation report).
• Prepare concrete test Log, NDT test log & FDT test Log.
• Participating in weekly review meeting with the client & consultant.
Perform daily inspection & test materials to achieve quality of construction required in the drawing& specification for all work under the contract document.
Receive or rejecting all kind of unqualified / unneeded materials.
Taking care QA/QC documents include certificate. Calibration, test results. Inspection Request, NCR, and Site Inspection.
Coordinate with consultant representative for inspection & meeting about quality problem.
Develop documentation and detailed progress reporting Assure all technical Document relative to site quality control are current status
Monitor, review and approved quality Control Documentation progressively compiled during the project to ensure that all activities are recorded and reported as required.
Conduct field inspection In accordance with the quality requirement
Coordinating with client owner's inspectors to ensure that work is going with in project specification & requirement.
Good communication with construction crew to enhance & motive them to give the quality production as per our client requirement.
Preparation of all inspection activity report daily, weekly & monthly wise.
Issue of non-conformance & site deficiency report.
Conducting inspection of all aspects for pre & post placement of concrete as per project requirements & specifications.
Witness for concrete testing prior to placement as per the international standard & specification requirements.
Involve with the preparation of ITP, CMS, project Quality plan & various other QA procedures
Coordinate with the project team for the distribution of all required Documents and drawings
Coordinate with the client for updating Project Quality Documents, and transmittal
Administrate QC department, and supervise the Works on site for the effective implementation of QC procedures where deems necessary.
Coordinate with the site management team for all quality related activities.
Organize, schedule and monitor the QC Inspector’s daily inspection activities.
Report all non-conforming works and coordinate with the site engineers for ensuring implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Engineers/ Inspectors on site including a Site Civil Materials Testing Laboratory.
Develop procedure and record maintaining for equipment calibration.
Ensure materials conform to the approved specification and that material testing is carried out by approved testing laboratory.
Inspecting the works according to RFI submitted by the contractor.
Inspecting the materials at site according to the material review request (MIR).
Checking civil works as per drawings and specifications.
Conducting weekly meeting with contractors, verifying the progress of items of work, according to schedule.
Performing concrete slump test prior to pouring the concrete.
Inspecting the final hand over files.
Co-ordinate with electrical and Mechanicaldisciplines engineers for technical clarification prior to concrete pouring.
Conducting inspection as per approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Perform, witness, testing and records result of inspection. Coordinate with the Independent Testing Laboratory in performing necessary tests and review all the tests result
Supervising all the civil works.
Supervising an inspecting the civil activities
Follow-up of construction activities for sub structure & super structure.
Follow-up of handing over of the structure discipline
Find out feasible work front and motivating sub contractors to proceed with construction
Solving construction related problems in coordination with Engineering department.
Reviewing and approving the contractor's materials and equipment submittal
Checking of Precast structures before and after concrete
Timely completion of targets given by Planning Department
Expediting work for final Hand over.
