• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the project team in Zaatari, Jordan, designing data collection (digital) forms for projects as per the monitoring plan and after consulting the technical teams on the simplest design that serving the aim.
• Follow up proactively with programme team and management to ensure MEAL data is collected at agreed intervals
• Assist in conducting surveys, observational monitoring, focus group discussions and key informant interviews within Zaatari camp; this will include assisting MEAL officer in designing proper data collection formats as prescribed
• Assist in entering gathered data along with MEAL assistant in a prescribed format, approved by the MEAL Officer, to produce reports on a regular basis; normally in Word or Excel formats.
• Perform analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and draft reports presenting the results of the analysis.
• Provide training and supervision to data collectors/data clerks, and to Oxfam field teams on the data collecting designed formats; recommend and implement guidelines for them in coordination with relevant programme staff
• Ensure sound data integrity and perform regular quality checks and compare and verify accuracy of data with source documents for consistency.
• Manage Smart phone usage (design new forms and manage the collected data)
• Check C4W list with UNHCR to ensure adherence to Camp SoPs.
• Update our figures on RAIS, activity info (when Za’atari programme has its own accounts)
• Provide regularly updated beneficiary figures.
