• Oversee the management of procurement of goods and services, including the administration of contracts with full transparency; acquiring high quality goods and services at lowest cost consistent with Group business needs;
• Chair the ad hoc Procurement Group for the approval of equipment procurement contracts for the Group
• Ensure that the procurement of goods and services for the Group is done in a transparent, fair, and efficient manner, and fall within the guidelines of the regional regulatory authorities
• Oversee the delivery and inspection of all supplies and manage the physical control of all equipment and services
• Generate commitment, motivation and enthusiasm to Procurement and General Services Division goals, and guide Division members through periods of change or uncertainly
• Provide clear direction, prioritise tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
• Plan, manage and review individual performance and provide regular feedback, development and coaching, taking prompt action where necessary
