Responsibilities:

• Designs products, systems and manufacturing methods through research of customer requirements, industry standards and internal standards.

• Develops products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
• Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.

• Interface with Product Line Managers, Applications Engineers, Market Managers, Manufacturing Engineers, Designers during all phases of product development and to support existing products
• Leads teams in the creation of design specifications considering application, cost, weight, performance, product life, manufacture, assembly and service.
• Develop in developing Bill of Materials, inspection criteria, process specifications.
• Assisted the manufacturing floor with any questions, issues, or concerns.
• Testing of appliances, parts and assemblies for performance (e.g. air flow, noise, lighting), safety (e.g. temperature, electrical, sharp edges) and reliability (eg. Long time performance)
• Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD Tools, e.g. Autodesk Inventor, SolidWroks, AutoCad and Unigraphics(NX).
• Knowledge in plastic injection molding & manufacturing process of home appliances

• Achieving advanced solid models and engineering drawings for different aircrafts parts, military projects, spare parts for different industries like automotive, electrical and petrochemical companies.
• CAD/CAM programming for a wide range of CNC machines, Mazak, Deckle Maho, Hartford, Mario Carnaghi, Cincinnati, Maxmill.
• Developed Postprocessors using NX for a big verity of CNC controls Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, Num.
• Provides support by preparing standard layouts, detail drawings and final assembly drawings.
• Develop accurate 3D solid model assemblies of molds, sheet metal parts and fixtures.
• Responsible for designing prototype equipment and developing tool fabrication processes
• CAD/CAM programming using (NX, Lantek expert) for Sheet Metal Fabrication workshop (1) CNC turret punch press (Murata), (2) 5 Axis water jet cutting machine (Flow, Ldsa), (1) laser cutting machine and (1) CNC router.
• Responsible for Fixture Design, Programming, Setup, and Operation of (5) 3 Axis CNC milling machines and (1) 5 Axis CNC milling machine and (2) turning CNC machines and (10) CNC Wire cut machines.
• Supervising work in the Conventional Machining department turning, milling, and drilling.
• Develop solutions to production problems related to materials, processes and tooling.
