  • Egypt
  • August 2012 to April 2014

Ritec is the leadest company in condition monitoring and predictive maintenance services in middle east
Participated in several Predictive maintenance programs such as Kandil industries, ABU ZAABAL Fertilizers & Chemicals Co. (AZFC)
and REXAM with a monthly visit to monitor and evaluate the condition of selected rotating equipment.
Issued Condition monitoring reports to the Maintenance Department in each project for equipment that needs planned or immediate
maintenance.
Conducted Advanced vibration tests on 120 Mega steam turbine with its generator due to high vibration on steam turbine, vibration
levels reduced to normal based on test results and recommendation implemented.
Performing field balancing and laser alignment.
ACHIEVEMENTS
High Speed Compressor Balancing
Field balancing for Multistage centrifugal compressor. The compressor
is feeding ethane gas from Aramco fractionation plant to Petro Rabigh
Ethan cracker plant. Vibration levels reduced from 2.4 Mils to 1.5 Mils
\{Shutdown 2.7 Mils\].
Successful analysis of Synthesis Gas turbine Vibration
spikes
Analysis of Vibration spikes on steam turbine due to Light rub at oil
seals area due to oil carbonization l that rub with turbine shaft,
reduced spikes frequency by installing buffer system increased
equipment reliability and reduced risk of trips
Failure Analysis of repeated mechanical seal leakage
chronic seal leakage of corrosive Formaldehyde process pump due to
installation errors and operation errors, after following best practices
in installation and operation of pumps, the MTBF trend started to
increase gradually.
Root cause analysis for Thrust bearing repeated
failure of multistage centrifugal pump
Failure analysis of repeated boiler feed water pump NDE bearing
failure due to high temperature & vibration after overhauling. Solved
after implementing the recommendations and reduced MTBF.
solving Reciprocating compressor repeated failure
participated in the analysis of repeated unloader valves failure for
Recycle compressor which was causing plant downtime every 3
months. after recommendation implemented compressor kept running
more than 1 year.
Successful Analysis of steam turbine high bearing
temperature
participated in the analysis of Steam turbine NDE bearing high
temperature of CGC train using system 1, based on analysis findings
and recommendation implemented. Temperature reduced from 100˚C
to 70˚C.
Successful analysis of Steam Turbine high Vibration
during startup
Analysis of driving steam turbine of main air compressor high DE
bearing vibration after overhauling using system 1.compressor started
normally After rectifying misalignment.
Successful analysis of High vibration on drive steam
turbine bearing of Recycle compressor in Refinery
Analysis of increased vibration on steam turbine during steady-state
running condition using system 1 protected the machine from reaching
trip limit by applying proper recommendations.
Successful analysis of Cracked gas Compressor high
bearing temperature
Participation in the analysis of Steam turbine NDE bearing high
temperature of CGC compressor train using system 1. based on analysis
findings and recommendation implemented, temperature reduced
from 120˚C to 75˚C.
