Reporting to the headquarter in China and KSA GM
Working with a team of 5 and headcount over 600 employees
- Leading and managing (Talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, administration, payroll, off-boarding, government relations, and corporate alignment):
- Payroll: reviewing and processing timesheet, overtime, other allowances, deductions, leaves; uploading salaries to bank, and preparing financial reports
- Government relations & compliance: managing portals such as GOSI, MUQEEM, MHRSD/MOL, Chamber of Commerce, BALADY, MISA, MCI, MOFA, QIWA, and MUDAD besides staying up-to-date with trends regarding labor law, and relevant changes that might affect the organization; and representing the organization with governments authorities and agencies
- Employee relations: Supporting HR operations and requests, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, responding to employee inquiries in a timely manner, managing and resolving complex issues; conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Administration: maintaining and updating personnel files, performing employee personnel changes and updating the system, enrolling/removing employees from medical insurance and GOSI, reporting work-related injuries, preparing organizational development/OD reports, sending contract renewal notification to line managers, and booking tickets/hotels
- Off-boarding: conducting retention/exit interviews, and calculating end of service benefits - EOSB/final settlement
- Corporate alignment: partnering with respective business units' leaders on periodic meetings (providing HR guidance including, but not limited to, interpretation of Saudi labor law, Saudization requirements, and human resource planning)
- Talent acquisition: receiving recruitment requisition form (RRF) from line managers along with the job description, analyzing budgeted/unbudgeted requests and taking any necessary approvals, adding requests to lead-time tracker, sourcing using various channels i.e. (LinkedIn, Bayt, Taqat, and social media platforms, overseas agencies), screening CVs, performing initial telephonic interviews, shortlisting, scheduling personal interviews, evaluating and selecting candidates, performing reference-check, and preparing joining formalities
- Onboarding: following up with new joiners, confirming joining date, coordinating office space/accommodation arrangements, preparing employee ID badges, coordinating with IT and line manager for email and laptop requirements/system access, coordinating HR & safety training, sending welcoming announcement and internal memo, adding employee to ERP/payroll system, giving a tour and orientation, introducing him/her to the team, communicating regularly to ensure adaptability and answering any questions, coordinating with the line manager regarding employee performance, and probation period assessment
Greeting and serving customers, handling transactions, managing orders, issuing receipts, dealing with suppliers, maintaining adequate change in the cash register, improving customer experience/satisfaction, answering customers' inquiries, and reporting to the restaurant's manager
