- Conducts a thorough review of all results presented by members of his team, reports all developments, progresses and constraints to R&D Manager.
- Responsible for project management of new product development, and new process development.
- Works with operations to develop new processes / procedures and ensure that product development efforts are compatible and beneficial to the manufacturing capabilities.
- Establishes and monitors the projects pipeline review and prioritization system for the R&D department.
- Provides customers (internal and external) with technical support.
- Conducts pre-launch productions of these new products and processes in collaboration with the production team.
- Responsible for implementation of new products.

- Verifying the good implementation of Food Safety management system requirements (PRPs, HACCP, Quality management system, etc…).

- Handling of all documents related to (ISO 22000/2005).

- Handling of customers requirements, and claims.

- Holding external audits.

- Handling internal audits, monitoring of the schedules, and control the required corrective actions.

- Handle the external audits from (inspection bodies, Customers, etc…).

- Receiving raw materials.

- Quality control for production lines.

- Handling of the non-conformities and their corrective actions.

-Hold chemical/micrbiological tests on the "received raw materials", and give the final decision (Hold, Release, Rejection).

-Application tests for the raw materials and final products.
-Assessment and verifying the suppliers according to MIFAD quality system.
