PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Formulate, execute and develop IT strategies, plans and implement companywide the objectives of IT needs ensuring information system capabilities respond to the company objectives and business goals.
• Advise the CEO on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives.
Budget
• Prepare IT department annual budgets and ensure expenditure remains in line with the approved budget.
Policies
• Setup and enforce policies and procedures for all computer operations in the IT Department and throughout the company.
Hire
• Attract, hire, manage, develop and coach highly talented technical staff
Design & Development
• Lead the design of systems, selection, and implementation of state-of-the-art applications, architecture and establish and maintain a network infrastructure for local and wide-area connectivity and remote access.
• Advise and drive the adoption and integration of technologies that will improve the quality and efficiency of services provided.
• Ensure application software and infrastructure are reliable, secure, and can meet future growth demand.
• Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
Procurement
