Data Analysis Specialist at Lean
  • Saudi Arabia - Riyadh
  • April 2018 to October 2019

Lean was a tech start-up semi-governmental company operating to advance the healthcare ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. I joined Lean as a founding member of the data analytics team, where my roles were and were not limited to:
• Implementing internal and external processes for data quality and integrity for Lean systems with over 100k daily users.
• Investigating and implementing fraud detection methodologies for the Sick leave system with a million sick leave within two years.
• Cleaning, wrangling, and preparing lean internal systems' data of over 30k users using Python and SQL from seha.sa sub-services to be utilized for dashboards and analysis. I also worked on cleaning and wrangling the activities for over 30 hospitals with more than 100 million records to be issued as part of the revenue cycle management project.
• Representing the data analytics team as part of the change management committee to ensure the new releases do not conflict with other systems or releases.
• Designing and implementing operational reports for internal and external customers. I was also responsible for issuing the financial team's monthly and quarterly financial reports to be finalized. I was able to save the company hundreds of thousands of losses by ensuring data integrity and investigating its provenance.
• Implementing internal processes standardization for the interaction between the data and other teams to ensure smooth and effective interactions.
• I was eager and lucky to mentor a few interns.

PE system analyst at Saudi Aramco
  • Saudi Arabia - Eastern Province
  • November 2014 to March 2018

I joined the petroleum engineering application services department, where web solutions were designed and implemented to facilitate and enhance production engineers' day-to-day activities and the reliability of data based on requirements. I was enrolled in a three-year professional development program for new graduates with rotational assignments in different roles such as:
• analyzing the latest demands by meetings with petroleum engineers to emphasize the business values of proposed needs, then designing and implementing the initial business process and presenting it to the proponents as a business analyst.
• Developing the final business processes using the latest technologies such as Spring MVC and other tools as a web developer.
• I worked as a production engineer in Remote Fields Gas Production Engineering Division in the remote area of Udhailiyah for a year. I was there to highlight anomalies from real-time operational data and identify an area of improvement in current processes. Also, I familiarised myself with preparing for well intervention and well surveillance job programs and conducting knowledge sessions for existing systems.
