- Reviews project drawings, specifications, BOQs and other contract documents in order to prepare an accurate & comprehensive workable budget and cost control
plan.
- Coordination between Engineering and Quantity Surveying departments to come up with the final project quantity take off to be purchased by the Procurement department and used in the program and progress reports.
- Contribute to presentations and estimations of the new projects under study.
- Notifying project managers of any under -or Over- run in project cost recommending courses of action and coordinating progress with budgeting & planning.
- Maximizing the projected revenue and cash flow by closely monitoring all change orders, variations, additional scope, and claims.
- Preparing regular monthly reports and reviews of projects Cost Performance CPI SPI.
- Analyzing the project weekly productivity reports and monthly cost reports
- Coordination with site team for the best utilization of resources to cope with budgeted figures extracted for productivity and cost.
- Issuing Cost Control report, cost reconciliation report & Forecast Report on monthly basis.
- Issuing Monthly Progress Report Using Earned Value Technique to evaluate projects’ progress.
- Establishing and automation the cost coding structure in reference to CSI and
industrial best practice
- Supervising the calculation of the project progress and cost control through the relevant computer software.
- Following up on subcontractors work progress and invoices.
- Preparing the Trend report for any revised cost happened on project duration
- Participating in Claim & VO’s analysis reflecting Cost & time Impact.
- Assesses and analyses all amendments to the project as a result of change orders and takes necessary actions to raise Trend and amend Current Forecast/Budget.
- Actively participate in various reviews & audits related to project control and status reporting as per approved standards and procedures.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
