Responsible for all BD department related activities for the newly established Shipyard, while monitoring the market forecast and advising on the potential upcoming suitable projects while always maintaining key client relationship through regular one to one meetings or phone calls.
• Play an active role in acquisition and relationship management, and use these to create customer demand with the focus on the cultural part of doing business in the area;
• Consult with the (potential) client on the technical, functional and other specifications of the possible order.

Growing client network and maintain up to date data base for existing and new clients in UAE through Abu Dhabi and Dubai Offices and link them with potential opportunities to ensure regular follow up.
Attending all relevant Events, Seminars or Exhibitions in the area that would add value either through regular networking or for informative reasons.
Accountable of all external prequalification process with clients and sustained current validation of prequalification. Create and establish marketing plan for effective new or existing services.
Identify new market opportunities, as well as categorise positive financial outcomes to increase profitability. Generate databases and capture market data; compose competitor’s analysis reports.

Analyze data and performance of the sales department through weekly/monthly/quarterly report to Head of Department.

Draw up invoices, assure their delivery in the right channels and responsible for credit management.
