Job Description: Rotation for one year in most of the company’s departments either in the head quarter or in the plant (technical and non-technical) in order to acquire both operational and strategic expertise, then getting assigned in a certain department.
Departments: HR, Finance, Business Development, Supply chain, Maintenance and Production.
Current Activity: Assigned as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Steel Making Plant (SMP).
Current Responsibilities:
• Areas of responsibility in the SMP are; CONSTEEL, Electric Arc
Furnace (EAF), Ladle Furnace (LF), Continuous Casting Machine
(CCM), Fume Treatment Plant (FTP) and Raw Material Handling (RMH).
• Supervision on the commissioning procedures of the plant that is
conducted by DANIELI Co. and providing some adjustments due
to the presence of snag points either in onsite implementation or
in design.
• Preparation of spare parts and consumables list to create a coded
database and a purchase request on SAP as a sort of preventive action to be prepared in case of machine failure during commissioning, cold and hot tests, and operation.

• Preparation of preconditioning lists for checking on the machines condition either functionality, alignment, lubrication, greasing, etc…, before testing.
• Responsible of preparing checklists for the SMP areas in order to be prepared with the critical points that needs to be checked before DANIELI Co. handovers the plant.
• Responsible for conducting meetings with suppliers for discussing the eligibility of their products (i.e. oil, pumps, seals, etc…) to be applicable in the plant.
• Had the chance to present the idea of enhancing the R&D department in the company, aside of the current responsibilities, through holding meetings between R&D director and the Chief of Technical Operations of TESRA in order to link between the research in steel industry and its actual implementation in the plant.
• Currently working on ideas for plant enhancement -aside to the current responsibilities- that was suggested by the plant general manager in order to enhance and utilize some of the plant’s resources to improve the plant’s efficiency.
