Prepare Cost System by:
Calculating the products costs on monthly base
Tracking the variance between the budget and actual cost and analyze the reasons
Highlight the main variances after analysis and work on solving the issues
Work closely with the process owners to reduce the manufacturing costs.

As the cost of materials and labor fluctuate, the reports also reflect the new costs and gives management the information needed to decide if the costs should be passed on to the consumer or if new vendors should be pursued for a better price on the materials.
