Cargo Controller Tasks:-

· Exchange Mails with maritime lines, vessels coordinators, Vessels Masters
· Exchanges mails with other department( finance-yard planning-vessel planning-operation-reefer support-Gate..)
· Update system with vessels and containers data( EDI-Movins-discharge lists-load lists)
· Check dead line for the expected vessels available and missing data (for the next 48 hours)
· Check mail issue and solve problems
· Liaise with yard planning and vessel planning issues related to units data on system
· Send longstanding units to concerning line
· Prepare terminal departure report after vessel complete cargo operation & vessel performance report after vessel sailing and send it to concerning parties
· Update system with vessels timing( berth date & time-start operation-complete operation-..)
· Update system with containers discharged with damages (and send soft copy of damage reports to concerned line and claims department)
· Update system with all discrepancies related to containers data ( OOG, IMO, reefer) and inform concerned parties, finance department and yard planning
· Communicate with lashing and operation yard supervisors to handle bundle or unbundle flat rack containers according to line request
· Prepare boarding check for berthed vessels(print scan plan-bay plan-re-stow list-pre Plan file-..)
· Send pre arrival plan to vessel's coordinators -vessel's Masters ( with discharged reefer list-loaded reefer list including positions and reefer temp.)
· Act as berth planner in night shifts (prepare berth instructions-communicate with concerned lines & authorities-..)
· Create vessels voyages on system
· Attend on berthed vessels to get approval from vessel's C/O on the pre plan ( make changes on loading plan-get vessel's drafts-pilot on board time displacement figures-..)
· Communicate with vessel's C/O or duty officer (to call port control- in case vessel request reefer technician or have any problem to handle with vessel's supervisor)
· Communicate with finance department regarding requested charges ( blocked units-special handling-special units discrepancies-bundle & unbundle units-…)
· Liaise with operation vessel supervisors to update the requested data on system for berthed vessel's
· Liaise with operation vessel & yard supervisors about missing units-short landed units
· Liaise with gate service about export units that requested to load (VGM-IMO-next port of discharge-…)
· Liaise with shift leader to inform vessel's and lines with expected complete cargo operation of under operation vessel's
· Liaise with TOS department regarding system problems that may happened or create new port codes.
· Liaise with commercial department regarding charges or cargo handling
· Liaise with claims team regarding damaged units
· Communicate with vessel's coordinators ( requesting missing layout, positions)
· Liaise with operation support team regarding vessels data on system
· Communicate with tower planning team ( requesting vessel's supervisors-clear stop for units requested to load on under operation vessel's-units not confirmed on system)
· Liaise with safety and security team ( units with leakage condition- accidents)

1. Prepare discharging plan and send discharging instruction to PSD terminal.

3. Collect K line and partners CBF to prepare preplan.
4. Assist OPS manager in planning.
5. Prepare gantries plan.
6. Give loading instructions to operation team and terminal to avoid any mistakes fm terminal.
7. Capable to prepare loading plan with VSL stability and using any planning program.
8. Check VSL departure plan (final CASP file)before sending to KL OPS with TDR ( make all amendments determine dg containers and put UN., determine reefer containers put reefer temp, determine AWK containers and put over dimensions, correct if we have any duplicates etc .
9. Prepare restow list.

• Applications.

1. prepare DG cargo applications.
2. prepare AWK cargo applications.
3. prepare COD applications.





• VSL documents.

1. prepare ( REEFERS - DG - AWK ) manifest for all VSLS (k line - partners)


• Update VSL timing in K LINE WEB schedule for all VSLS (K Line - partners)
• Attend berthing committee to ensure berth for our VSL.
• Link between ( K Line OPS - PSCCT - Partners local agent )
• Dangerous cargo control ( follow up acceptance for all T/S, local dangerous applications )
• Check restow cost with accounting department.
• Make all necessary arrangement to ensure TOYOTA cargo handling carefully.
