• The Regional Head of EDRA Power Holdings in Egypt. Edra is a private company incorporated in Malaysia and is one of Southeast Asia’s leading international independent power producers controlling a diversified portfolio of quality power generation assets across a range of technologies;
• Edra is directly owned by China Solar Energy Investment Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“China Solar”). China Solar is in turn ultimately owned by China General Nuclear Power Corporation (“CGN”), which holds a 63% equity interest, and China Southern Power Grid Co., Limited (“CSG”), which holds a 37% equity interest, both of which are State-Owned Enterprises of the Government of the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”);
• Edra entered Egypt in 2005 and have been operating without interruption the Suez Gulf and East Port Said power plants with a combined capacity of 1, 365 MW since then. In 2007, Edra, via the acquisition of Globeleq, took over the operations of the Sidi Krir 682.5MW power plant, which was the first privately-owned Build Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT) power plant in Egypt;
• The Power Purchase Agreements (‘PPA”) have since expired recently, and the plants have been transferred back to the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (“EEHC”). Edra has been therefore the largest IPP company in Egypt, owning, operating and maintaining three conventional power stations, with total capacity of 2, 047.5MW for more than 20 years with a committed local Egyptian work force of about 300 employees;

• Together with a selected team of finance and technical professionals to successfully develop and secure at least 2.6 GW of renewable energy and 6.1 GW of combined cycle and gas fired power plants in new business contracts in the MENA region.
• Oversee the management of the Cairo regional office and currently serve as Managing Director for five subsidiaries: Port Said East Power, Suez Gulf Power Plant, Egyptian Operating Company, Sidi Krir Generating Company, and Sidi Krir Management Company.
• Manage all legacy issues associated with the assets transfer of ownership, outstanding technical, financial issues, and legal matters legal matters with the relevant authorities.
• Employ robust internal controls and processes, achieving 100% compliance with Group standards and reducing operational risks, and optimize resource level and utilization.
