Responsibilitiesu**
• Report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and manage all inventory activities from the financial perspective on the SAP system.
• Deal with pricing processes in SAP to enable smooth operations.
• Review and ensure compliance with inventory procedures as per company policies.
• Conduct daily reviews and reconciliation of all transactions affecting stocks.
• Manage pricing processes on SAP ensuring consistent healthy margin percentages for all SKUs.
• Monitor processing of orders, goods receipt and issue vouchers through systems and reconcile with physical documents.
• Manage transactions for goods write-off in SAP as per management approvals.
• Coordinate annual and perpetual inventory counts of all SKUs at all company storage facilities on schedules based on ABC analysis of stock movements as required.
• Analyze stock deviations and report all variances above accepted tolerance levels.
• Conduct monthly review and reconciliation of inventories at 35 van sales storage locations.
• Monitor and report performance on daily and monthly basis as per key performance indicators (KPI) - stock accuracy, variances, stock levels, stock ageing - for inventory management.
• Participate in activities related to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting and budgetary compliance.
• Work in streamlining operational procedures for improving workflow and increasing productivity.
• Contribute to the interface implementation between SAP ERP and Exceed WMS.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics and sales team to manage inventories to achieve company business objectives.
Projects
• Stores Outsourcing Project - Al Islami outsourced the complete stores to Agility Logistics. Participated as a key user in the entire process starting with system integration of SAP with Exceed WMS, EDI interface and physical transfer of storage and loading activities to Agility.
• Contributed as a key user in the project for integration of van sales hand held terminals (HHT) of 35 salesmen with the SAP system.
• New factory integration on SAP - Worked as a member of the implementation committee and reviewed bills of materials (BOM) and production plans.
• Participated as a key user for MM and FI modules in the first SAP integration project in the company (2009)
The company owns and operates poultry farms and processes and distributes poultry products.
Responsibilitiesu**
• Supervised implementation of instructions on inventory movements issued by sales and other relevant departments.
• Coordinated with stock keepers for proper maintenance of records of all inbound and outbound stock transactions.
• Maintained data of stock movements on bin cards or through data entry in WMS (ERP) facilitating efficient stock control and preparation of daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports - stocks on hand and detailed reports on stocks received, issued, damaged and transferred.
• Determined optimum stock levels for each item through reorder point calculations.
• Minimized dead stocks by ensuring application of FIFO method for stock movements.
• Prepared quarterly reports of slow moving goods to enable required control actions by management.
• Analyzed and reported cost of goods sold (standard and variable costs) by department, brands and products.
• Participated in physical stock counts on spot, quarterly, mid-year and year-end basis.
• Assisted in the preparation of the company’s annual budgets and periodic variance analysis reports.
• Supported execution of scheduled external audits.
