I am leading a team of talents to develop and operate technical tests for candidates applying to CrossOver jobs. Moreover. I lead assessing thousands of candidates every month in all phases of the process to filter those top 1% talents to our customers. Assessment is done for a very long list of technologies and tools across different platforms.
Madenty develops HIMS and ERP packagse for the Egyptian and ME markets. I helped in developing the strategy, market plan and the strategy evaluation tools for their top selling products and services. In addition I worked with engineering teams to release of a new generation of products.
Asfour Crystal is the largest Crystal manufacturer worldwide that exports more than 90% of multibillion production yearly.
My role was the strategic redesigning of IT services and infrastructure to cope with the company international leadership as being the largest crystal manufacturer worldwide. Moreover, I helped to reshape the role of IT from transactional model of performance towards decision support and acting as a change catalyst. The strategy committed to top management was designed to deliver business value through IT by building the required capacity while maintaining business and service continuity and this had been achieved through:
• Building the capacity of staff and resources to satisfy company ambitions in growth worldwide.
• Developing and implementing a strategic information roadmap for the company with relevant Balance scorecard and required KPI to monitor and tune performance.
• Building a new Data Center of Tier 3 to improve the information capacity to satisfy company current and future needs.
• Oversee the ITIL adoption
• Leading the strategic shift of team mindset towards service offering rather than product offering.
• Lead the development team strategic shift in using SCRUM development methodology.
• Redeployment of transactional and ERP software and aligning all to the company business strategies.
• Implement the SOA as core architecture for information exchange.
• Helping the company to move from transactional reporting towards strategic business intelligence, scenario analysis and business analytics.
• Leading a leap towards systems reliability, availability and resilience
• Planning for e-learning and knowledge base management capacity
Binary Works is a company specialized in developing products and solutions for the learning community. Its products range from students’ information management systems through content management systems and finally the learning management systems. Customers are from private sector and government as well including schools, universities, military institutes and school districts. Binary Works has the HQ in Cairo with selling subsidiaries in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.
My major achievements while I was in binary Works were:
• Introduced e-learning business to the local then the regional market and expected its booming in 2002 before the release of SCORM standard itself.
• Penetrating UAE, KSA, Egypt, Qatar and Oman markets
• Being market leader in the military IT strategic services sector in KSA
• Being market leader in the schools’ IT services sector in region
• Became the preferred premier partner for Intel in education sector in region
• Achieving profitability for the company after 5 years of company initiation
• Raising fund for the company for 3 successive rounds

I worked for this German company as a free-lance consultant for ME market penetration strategy development and deployment in addition on revising the business plan of the company for fund-raising purposes.
