Contribute positively to oversight and development of WLAC Centre and two Outreach Centres (Bucks New & London Royal Holloway Universities) services; assessments, equipment, training and services for students with all disabilities; including students with specific learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, visual and hearing impairments, mental health difficulties, physical disabilities and ADHD.

Carry out DSA assessment and advise the university staff on disabilities adaptations

Help maintaining, updating and managing assistive technology software and the centre Oracle databases

Prepare different DSA assessment computer images using Symantec Ghost Application

Liaise with IT/AT equipment suppliers and purchase equipment and software licences

To keep well-informed of all issues relating to the delivery of assessment by the various assessors to ensure that all funders’ requirements are met.

Produce a monthly KPI and maintain equipment database for the main centre and two outreach centres (Bucks New University & Royal Holloway University of London)

Extract and prepare the centre DSA-QAG yearly statistics and analysis students’ feedback

Participation in local and national groups including The National Network of Assessment Centres, DSA-QAG, The National Association of Disability Practitioners and the Academic Support Providers Network.

Line manage and coordinate the team of assessors, AT trainers, and Proof Readers in line with Brunel and DSA-QAG requirements

Liaise with managers and staff at the Outreach Centres to ensure a high quality service is maintained

Observe and appraise Assessors and other Centre staff in line with Brunel and DSA-QAG requirements
