Link Roads Adjacent to Al Khor Expresssway : the project consists of 50km of roads, signalized junctions, Pumping Station, ITS & CCTV Surveillance Systems, 02 Public Parks, 01 Parking with Facilities.
Mr. Ghribi is responsible to review, approval of all electrical technical submittals including method statement, ITPs, shop drawings, materials.
Review and Approval of Subcontractors Pre-qualifications.
Monitoring and evaluation of the work progress.
Monitoring the material procurement and delivery to site.
Analyzing and resolving site technical difficulties, issues, and problems. Liaising with other discipline’s engineers, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Coordination and interfacing with Kahramaa- Electricity Distribution-Construction Section for necessary site inspections.
Coordination and interfacing with Kahramaa Electricity Transmission -Maintenance Section.
Coordination and interfacing with Kahramaa Planning for necessary Approvals of materials.
Coordination and interfacing with Qatar Civil Defense for site inspections.
Coordination and interfacing with Qatar Amiri Guard for necessary Approvals of materials and site inspections.
Attending Factory Acceptance Test.
Attending and supervising site activities.
Attending Hand-over inspections with End users.
Review of Hand-over documents including Operations & Maintenance manuals.

Expressway/ Client Ashghal.
Al Khor Expressway is one of the largest Infra projects in Qatar with a total cost of 10 Billion QAR. The
project comprises 32Km dual 5‐lane carriageway, 34 km cycling and foot paths, 27 cycling subways,
10 new Interchanges including signalized Junctions, 03 Tunnels, 10 Nos. 11 KV Substations, MV/LV
Network, Ooredoo, QAF & QNBN Network, Utility building, 02 pump stations, Street lighting system,
ITS System, Speed Cameras, Traffic Signals…etc.
Pump Stations, Utility Building and SCADA System.
The 03 Tunnels within Al Khor Expressway project have respectively a total length of 180 and 350 m
have a provision of LED lighting system and its PLC control system for Day/Night lighting, Fire
Fighting System through Electric and Fire Pumps. Storm water drainage through 02 underground
Pump stations with associated water tanks, CCTV system for fire identification and security reasons.
Monitoring and control of Electrical and Mechanical equipment at three Tunnels is achieved through
a SCADA system. The Combined Utility Building is dedicated to accommodate 1000 KVA Substation, a
Standby Generator, Fire Fighting electric and Diesel pumps, UPS system, SCADA and CCTV servers
and a common control room for both SCADA and CCTV systems.

hand over of 11 kV Substations, MV/LV Network and necessary shut‐downs.
Review contractor’s claims related to electrical works. Prepare recommendations for claims approval
or rejection.

Review of Hand‐over documents including Operations & Maintenance manuals.

interfaces and infrastructure in Tripoli Libya with total cost of 03 Billion USD
Inspect & ensured work is completed in accordance with drawings, Project specifications, standards,
quality, safety & environmental requirements. Inspecting and ensuring material delivered at site is
free of defect, stored and protected as per manufacturer recommendation and complied with
approved material submittal. Quality assurance of constructed works; identify non‐conformances
and follow through on actions to remedy the non‐conformances. Reviewing contractor’s method
statement. Maintained accurate records of contractor’s activities. Ensured Contractor is maintaining
records in accordance with contract requirements. Liaising with contractor's site management &
supervisors regarding site issues. Witnessing of testing & commissioning, recording and maintaining
of commissioning results, reports and ensured that installed equipment are performing accurately
after final start‐up. Reviewing As built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals. Organizing
operation and maintenance training to end users with equipment/system vendors, preparing reports.

Plans electrical maintenance activities of Electrical and mechanical equipment for hotels belonging to
Abou Nawas Hotels group.
Assisting maintenance manager in establishing priorities, recommends improvements to work
methods. Directs and controls routine, repair and modification jobs of assigned personnel. Studies,
plans & implements required work modifications. Ensured optimum inventories of spare parts &
general materials of the electrical equipment are stocked; Liaises with other departments’
supervisors for the purpose of coordination in matters related to electrical & mechanical
maintenance. Assists Maintenance Manager in the budget preparation and providing justifications
for proposal. Ensure electrical work is according to company mandatory safety codes. Supervised
the implementation of electrical department contracts.
