Monitor and review the Regional Financial System in order to ensure that the financial processes and records maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
Oversee the preparation of monthly Consolidated Financial Statements, budget comparison and cash flow reports.
Development of financial business cases using multiple techniques including financial modelling and analysis.
Perform and monitor financial budgets and forecasts for local and overseas business units.
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Review monthly results and implement monthly variance analysis as compared to budget and investigate deviations.
Assist the Regional Finance Director and the Global CEO with financial reporting as required at Board meetings and the Annual General Meetings and provide advice to support the decision making process.
• Schedule, conduct and organize audits of full complexity for conformity with policies and procedures of Deloitte which include qualitative and quantitative analysis, and evaluation of industry and business risk..
• Performed day-to-day audit work that includes audit planning, control testing, substantive works, supervision of junior staff, reporting and completion of audit engagement.
• Take responsibility to follow up several audit engagements, simultaneously.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for a very complex Group listed in Switzerland stock exchange (SIX) in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Financial reporting (including consolidated financial statements) in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and in accordance with Egyptian Accounting standards.
• Internal control reporting.
• Experience in auditing several types of activities (Manufacture, Hotels, Trade, Export & Import, Construction, etc...).
• Provide support to new auditors.
• Communicate and report findings to audit managers, partners and clients’ management.
• Maintained professional communication with various levels of clients.
• Participate in special assignments (Due diligence, Test internal control, Fraud investigation, etc…).
Rsponsible For Auditing And Preparing Financial Statments According To EAS and IFRS Of The following Companies :
1- Orascom For hotels and development
2- Orascom for Hotels Holding.
3- Sekem holding for Investment.
Currently passed 13 out of 14 exams and planning to finish on June 2015
