Main Roles:
• Revising submitted baselines and ensure that the time schedule is realistic, covering all scope of work, complying with contract requirements, loaded with all necessary resources and clear of any defects could effect on monitoring and controlling.
• Lead regular planning meetings with Client/Contractors planners and technical offices to ensure that work is moving according to time schedules and quality.
• Close coordination with resident engineer and Site team to ensure accurate progress monitoring system.
• Keeping accurate records detailed on the progress of work during all stages of execution.
• Require the Contractor to produce a revised/recovery schedule to show how the Contractor proposes to complete the Works within the contractual period.
• Revising EOT Claims and making recommendations to client.
• Creating the monthly report - with site team coordination- about the work progress for all projects.
Project : Waad Al Shamal Project
(Establishing Treated Water Transmission Lines To Waad Al Shamal City Development including Pump Stations and Water Tanks with cost over 1Billion and 200 Million SAR).
Client : National Water Company (NWC).
Main Roles:
• Prepare and update project schedule based on the contract.
• Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
• Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
• Prepares and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.
• Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.
• Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Manager.
• Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.
• Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.
• Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and manpower histogram for tenders.
• Preparation of Time Schedule loaded with Resources.
• Follow up the work achievement according to time Schedule Plus cost control.
• Determination of the Achievement work percentage with the consultant.
• Preparation of S-Curves, Cash Flow Reports
• Coordination with the Sub-Contractors Planners and leading progress meetings to prepare complete updated schedules.
• Attending meetings with all related parties of the project to discuss the progress and shortage reasons to take the corrective actions.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports showing all criteria of the project and critical issues.
Riyadh water supply projects (Strengthening of Water Resources Projects for Riyadh City by constructing 28 stations including GLS Tanks and Water Treatment Plants to treat the coming water from each Well to product water of 5000 m3/day to be pumped into existing networks).
Main tasks:
-Revising & monitoring time programs to ensure that
work is moving according to time schedules and quality requirements & making recommendations
to NWC ( National Water Company ) of major risks and delays affecting the project.
▪ Lead regular planning meetings to ensure progress on track and enforce compliance to planned
schedule.
▪ Monitor the productivity of labour and plant to verify that sufficient resources are available to
complete the Works according to the schedule.
▪ Close coordination with resident engineer and Site team to ensure accurate progress monitoring
system
▪ Keeping accurate records detailed on the progress of work during all stages of execution.
▪ Require the Contractor to produce a revised schedule to show how the Contractor proposes to
complete the Works within the period stated in the Construction Contract, if it becomes apparent to
the Consultant that the Contractor is not maintaining satisfactory progress in accordance with the
schedule baseline.
▪ Notify the Contractor to take the necessary steps to expedite progress so as to comply with the
time for completion stated in the Contract, if the rate of progress of the Works is not in accordance
with the contractor schedule.
▪ Creating the monthly report - with site team coordination- about the work progress for all projects
to the work owner including following items :
- Summary of work progress - conditions of each location - execution activities - modifies -
tests - achievement problems that faces them and suggestions for solutions and charts about
work progress
- Photographic pictures for all locations of the project
▪ Participate in Auditing & reviewing end summary, after primary receiving for the project.
Responsible on :
- Buildings Section ( B6 ) of 500 building with cash 1 milliar and 500 million L.E .
- Golf Club House with cash 36 million L.E .
- Infra structure for buildings section ( B6 ) .
- Infra structure for Main Roads .
