Job Description:
• Managing company importation activities, ensuring compliance with market requirements and align with company policies.
• Monitoring and controlling freight and customs clearance operations.
• Managing performance of logistics partners to ensure compliance and alignment with company requirements and contractual obligations.
• Train employees, coach them continuously and manage their personal and professional development plans.
• Resolve escalated incidents and crisis arising from day-to-day operations.
• Review changes in regulations/tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility to manage impact on operation compliance.
• Focusing on continuous improvement to cost saving and operational performance.
Job Description:
• Monitoring company Imports and Exports including Freight and Customs Clearance (Garments - Cosmetics - Food stuff - Shopfitting)
• Controlling and Managing company relationships with freight forwarders and Clearing Agents.
• Controlling freight and customs clearance cost, by choosing the most cost-efficient shipping mode.
• Manage a team of shipping coordinators including workload, motivation, training & appraisals.
• Represent the company against concerned government authorities; Customs and GOEIC.
• Communicating compliance requirements with exporters to adhere to customs requirements.
• Continuously follow up new customs regulations and laws to assure company egal performance.
• Maintain data base including records for company shipments flow, KPIs, and cost.
• Using Oracle and GTMS systems to monitor department KPIs and maintain performance reports.
• Focusing on continuous improvement to cost saving and operational performance.
Job Description:
• Responsible for the daily communications and follow up of all imports, inter-country transfers and exports with freight forwarders and customs broker.
• Provide pre-alerts on incoming shipments; check clearance documentation and costing for shipments.
• Record and consolidate all information received from freight forwarders into report form.
• Prepare weekly reports on status of incoming shipments.
• Check costing from freight forwarders and clearing agents against approved rates.
• Pass insurance claims to finance for processing.
• Communicate problems with Logistics manager.
• Recommend actions expediting clearing processes.
• Handle customers queries on incoming shipments.
