JAZAN Economic City (JEC) is one of the major economic cities which will attract a total investment of SR 100 billion on a master plan of 106 Km2.

After a prosperous 16 months of commitment, dedication, hard work and achievements at JAZAN Economic City, I have been promoted from Senior Business & Property Development Manger to Head the Real-estate Department. By reporting to the Vice President of Urban & Industrial Development and being responsible for the complete real-estate offerings within the 106km2 development, this added immense roles and responsibilities which include the following:

 Defining the Real-estate Strategy and Business Plan
 Identifying Business opportunities and attractions with potential investors
 Preparation of commercial proposals and investment packages
 Preparation of Business Cases supported by technical solutions
 Managing the complete City-wide Master Plan review and updates
 Reviewing city guidelines and architectural themes & designs
 Managing design consultants contracts from initiation to project closure
 Aligning on department budget and internal resources

JIWAR Properties & Real-estate Management was established in 2002 as subsidiary of Saudi Binladen Group of companies. JIWAR has been founded to serve the mega project, "Abraj Al-Bait", one of the most prestigious developments in the holy city of Makah Al-Mukarrama with overview of Kaaba and Haram.

JIWAR is focusing on Hotels business. The idea is to allocate buildings/ plots within prime locations in KSA and to work with international operators on 4 & 5 Stars hotels. The vision is create its own branding and to be a Property Developer, Property Management and Operators.

I am responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of all JIWAR Hotels and future plans.


Duties & responsibilities - by reporting to the Executive Director, and leading a team of qualified Interior Designers & Specialist Consultants based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and due to my extensive experience in managing international consultants, I am managing new Projects that will be operated by international hotel operators in Riyadh and Makah, and my role includes:

- Defining business opportunities, evaluation, budgeting.
- Evaluating all Agreements with Hotel Operators
- Reviewing all design requirements and hotel ratings.
- Delivery of all company developments from initiation to handover.
- Managing all design stages up to tendering, construction and completion.
- Quality Control and Quality assurance.
- Appointment and coordination of Interior Designer, Kitchen Consultants etc…
- Monthly Management reports.
- Coordinating with different parties and authorities for approvals and permits.
- Controlling all financials of related service providers.
- Following up daily construction activities on site.
- Heavily involved in tender negotiations and award.
- Responsible for all department related issues including department budgeting, staff interview, and tasks delegation.

Mada’in Properties (PJSC) is a leading property developer in the UAE, based in Dubai and Kuwait. It was established in 2006 with around 300 shareholders.

Ahmed is responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of all Mada’in Developments and future plans.

Duties & responsibilities - he reports to the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Executive Officer, and he leads a development team of qualified architects, engineers and development managers, his role includes:

 Delivery of all company developments from initiation to handover.
 Defining business opportunities, evaluation, budgeting.
 Managing all design stages up to tendering, construction and completion.
 Quality Control and Quality assurance.
 Appointment and coordination of Consultants.
 Monthly Management reports.
 Coordinating with different parties and authorities for approvals and permits.
 Controlling all financials of related service providers.
 Following up daily construction activities on site.
 Heavily involved in tender negotiations and award.
 Responsible for all department related issues including department budgeting, staff interview, and tasks delegation.

Dubai Properties is the second largest Property Developer in the GCC, a Dubai based semi-government entity and a subsidiary of Dubai Holding. Dubai Properties has been developing the most prestigious master developments in Dubai, such as the Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, The Villa, the Executive towers, the Dancing towers, Tejar Town and other mega developments.

Duties & responsibilities - by reporting to the Chief Officer (CO) of Projects at Dubai Properties and a team of experienced designers, Architects, Engineers, he was responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of the residential part of the Business Park development and the Business Bay creek extension included the following:

 Preparation of project feasibilities and budgets along with the Contracts and Commercial dept.
 Drafting the project design brief for the residential waterfront.
 Appointment and coordination of international and local consultants.
 Negotiations with local authorities.
 Design review and evaluation.
 Tendering and preparation of tender documents and negotiations.
 Coordination with the sales and marketing dept.
 Managing project financials and all invoicing related to the project.
 Management of the internal project team.
 Involved in day-to-day site activities.

A private Engineering Consultant founded in Dubai, that was involved in design and supervision activities along with all associated works and tasks from a concept phase to turn-key products.

Duties & responsibilities - by reporting to the Director of projects, Ahmad was involved in the early stages of the project from the concept stage throughout the implementation, his responsibilities included:

 Preparation of Concept designs based on the clients requirements.
 Detailed design and workshop drawings.
 Negotiations and discussions with local authorities for approvals and permits.
 Management of internal project team of draughts men and junior architects.
 Quality control and final check up for designs and workshop drawings prior tendering.
 Reply on all tender queries related to architectural requirements.
 Follow up site activities and queries.
