A) Ordering raw and packaging materials after:
1-Receiving approved purchase requests.
2. Quoting at registered and approved vendors to ensure best price, quality and delivery of requested items.
3. Negotiating deals to reach best quality, price and delivery terms.
4. Prepares purchase orders for approval as per the purchasing policy of the company.
5. Issues and maintains purchasing records with respective approvals for ease of reference.
6. Follows up on orders, deliveries and receipts to proceed with payments.
7. Maintains a computerized, classified system of all incoming requests for ease of reference and purchasing process development monitoring.
8. Checks and confirms deliveries with samples approvals (if any) to ensure delivered quantities conformity versus delivered quality.
B) Develop and implement plans of purchase for all key raw materials and suppliers. Preparing and implementing plans for vendor evaluation, assessing supplier performance via key performance indicators, overseeing inventory positions at each manufacturing site, and acting as a liaison with Supply Chain Management, Finance and Manufacturing on standard costing, cost reduction and cost avoidance for each site and third party supply. Researching and negotiating with vendors to obtain competitive pricing for quality products and services. Forecasting accurate inventory needs based on market trends, corporate marketing efforts, and corporate sales trends •Managing all raw materials purchases from various vendors, including raw materials vendors and contract manufacturers •Negotiating best prices from suppliers.
C) Coordination with the planning and logistics departments all the relevant activities to Supply Chain Management.
-Managing and monitoring the daily workflow of the local purchasing department.
-Reviewing the forecast sales/production plan in accordance with forcasted material.
-Supervise the purchase of packaging material (Plastic bags, Carton, Solitape, etc)
-Analyze materials prices and monitor international prices movements.
-Seek new sources of goods and services.
-Responsible for two purchasing representative, and driver.
-Reporting to the purchasing manager.
-Buy all external Purchasing.
-Purchase through the renewed per month custody (25, 000 pounds).
-Doing all purchase orders and prepared through the Oracle application.
-Responsible for driver.
-Reporting to the purchasing manager.
