• Medical Purchasing
 Facilitates the procurement of pharmaceuticals and supplies requirements to deliver comprehensive services efficiently and in a timely manner.
 Reviews hospital purchasing contracts to ensure cost containment through price and vendor analysis, prior to the composition of purchase orders on an ongoing basis.
 Renew annual contracts with suppliers at the beginning of every year with higher benefits to increase the profit and decrease cost.
 Negotiation with suppliers for extra benefits for fast moving & high consumable items.
 Enlisting new items according to needs after negotiations with companies for the best deals.
 Ensuring that for each brand drug there is 1 or 2 generics. selecting generic that ensure the best cost effectiveness with highest quality and lowest price.
 Reviews departments requests and actual inventory when preparing orders for pharmaceuticals & supplies.
 Prepares and places orders in advance to minimize short supply situations.
 Regular communication with physicians to ensure availability of all their prescribed medicines.

• Drug Store stock controller:
 Make Purchase requests for Drugs and retail items based on the monthly consumption and the available stocks.
 Regularly monitoring the stocks all over the hospital to prevent any zero stock items or over stock.
 Checking non-moving items and communicating with suppliers to return them or replace with moving items.
 Making random inventory on different departments, identify and correct any discrepancies to achieve best stock management.
 Participating with finance in conducting the annual inventory of the hospital.
 Checking expiry, communicate with companies to return expired and near expired items.
 Receiving invoices against approved purchase orders after checking price, discount, and expiry.
 Distribution of received items to all departments according to their requests.

 Contributed with the Pharmacy Manager in initializing the Pharmaceutical Care Services in the hospital.
 Worked with quality department in writing and revising the Police and Procedures, Mission, Vision and Scope of service.
 Worked in the preparatory phase of the pharmacy, with purchasing department Requesting furniture and instruments,
 Worked with medical purchasing on procurement of pharmaceuticals and medication & maintaining drug inventory level by ordering necessary medications & supplies & verifying received medications against purchase orders.
 Worked with the IT team On the Pharmacy part of HMIS
 Train, Coach, motivate new coming staff.
 Provided friendly Customer at Rx drop off & pick up, provide patient counseling and handling patient’s complaints.
