Group Finance Manager

Duties and responsibilities: Finance

• Be responsible for investment related activities of the fund
• Analyze and structure real estate investments
• Negotiate with banks, developers and operators for the fund's investment projects
• Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
• Oversee cash, investment, and asset management.
• Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships.
• Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans.

Planning, Policy, and Investor Relations

• Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets.
• Develop financial business plans and forecasts.
• Engage the finance committee of the board of directors to develop short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans and projections.
• Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, foundation executives, auditors, public officials, etc.

Accounting and Administration

• Oversee the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function; supervise XYZ Nonprofit’s finance staff.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for federal and state funders, foundations, and XYZ Nonprofit’s board of directors; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.

Accounts Manager - Responsibilities:

• Set the policies and procedures of financial accounting, and ensure adherence to these policies and procedures, to enhance control over company assets.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions, and coordinate with accounts payable and accounts receivables sections regarding reconciliation of their
• corresponding sub-ledgers.
• Maintain and reconcile the sister companies account.
• Maintain companies investments and evaluation.
• Ensure accurate recording of bank transactions and perform
reconciliations.
• Ensure proper control over inventory transactions throughout the supervision of cycle counts and yearly physical count and the revision and authorization of all inventory
• adjustments within the financial limitation matrix.
• Review all checks and cash disbursement prior signature of the Board Members and Finance Director in accordance with P&P and financial limitation matrix.
• Coordinate and prepare required and certificates for Zakhat and external audit engagements.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements related to the company financial position, profit and loss, and trial balances.
• Prepare the monthly P&L for each line of Business and per Principal.
• Review monthly payroll and ensure the allocation to cost centre and prepare the end of services provisions.
• Ensure the acquiring and disposal of fixed assets are done in adherence of P&P of the company.
• Ensure the accuracy of allocating capital expenditures to the projects and by the end of the implementation period reconcile and transfer them in Fixed assets
• Ensure applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to the accounting cycle of the company.
• Monitor and assess the performance of department staff; Develop their training and development plans in coordination with the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities: - Accounts Payable In-charge:-

• Set the policies and procedures of accounts payables activities, and ensure adherence to these policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounts payables and control the resolving of all discrepancies (Inventory shortage or excess) arise from the three way matching throughout the financial limitation matrix.
• Ensure proper documentation of all supplier-related transactions (Invoices and Debit and Credit Notes) and follow-up the collection of the outstanding Debit Notes.
• Resolve reconciliation issues with suppliers directly and strengthen relation with suppliers.
• Attend and participate with Finance Director's meetings with
Suppliers Finance Delegates.
• Attend monthly Supplier's meeting to discuss business process with the pre-sales and operation members.
• Supervise statement reconciliation of supplier's accounts process.
• Supervise the issuance of all debit notes and Follow up on corrective actions regarding rejected debit notes and the payment of the Supplier's Debit notes.
• Assist in the year-end closing.
• Prepare regular reports regarding supplier accounts settlements accounts aging, and currency needs forecast.
