• Manage the MSCs (Main Switch Centre) and data centers environment development, operation and maintenance, equipment’s installation, solutions and operations budget.
• Manage and handle the core network operations of 30 switches with its supplementary elements to serve more than 33 Million subscribers.
• Manage and control 28 data center rooms at 6 locations.
• Manage MSC & Data Center Support Team (10 permanent & 4 Temporary & 5 Outsourcing) employees.
• Control core maintenance activities and full control on core network systems with full revenue assurance.
• Manage all OPEX and CAPEX budget related to MSCs & Data centers operation team.
• Ensure core network KPIs well sustained.
• Maintaining for all core networks which generate all company voice revenues and also part of data revenues and Improve core network maintenance processes
• Set and follow up the training plans (Technical & non-Technical) for all team members.
• Follow up the network performance reports and ensure reaching the objectives by maximum office participation.
• Participate at managerial level in cross-functional teams in order to influence cross-functional business decision making.
• Manage all network physical connectivity and testing activities to meet market requirement, network expansion, promotions offered by the company and save the company from any revenue loss coming from this area.
• Manage and solve customer complaints problems and participate to enhance our customer experience.
• Managing and utilizing NSS operations and outsourcing resources to achieve Mobinil objectives with minimum cost and time.
• Superior supervision for maintenance services, analyzing network and make plans of maintenance service, solving critical problems, communicating with customer to improve mode of maintenance and heighten customer satisfaction.
• Put into force core network expansions, upgrades and new services implementation plan which cope with outstanding subscriber’s growth objective.
• Building team know how through high knowledge training sessions for core network.
• Assist and collaborate with other staff and customers in the development of the overall architecture for core networks and infrastructure which has been resulted positively on overall tasks.
• Delivering complicated professional service; leading other engineers to deliver management service.
• Acting as mentor for other engineers to improve their skills and providing senior training for customers.
• Sum up cases and guidelines of project delivery, maintenance, and professional and management service.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and availability of the network on an ongoing basis and recommend improvements in technologies.
• Strategic player for acceptance and Revenue Targets
• Key player for Management Process implementation & improvement
• HR utilization and improvement for members productivity
• Project Control by aligning main systems time, quality and cost
• Applying of knowledge management system to improve Project KPI
• Follow up and handling all Mobinil teams including all TE S.C teams
• Responsible for planning for all new projects, upgrades and expansions
• Responsible for applying of Quality Standard of Mobinil & FT group
• Responsible for Site Acceptance and Auditing
• Responsible for making plans for subcontractors and arrangement of work
• Optimize core operational costs through optimizing installations phases and support contracts to clear all project reserves before lunching.
• Supervise all vendors’ subcontractor teams during working on site bedside life on air equipment without outage and managing Vendor SLA’s.
• Control core network installations vendors (Alcatel, Nokia, Tekelec and Huawei).
Operate & Maintain of BSC “BSC6000”and BTS”BTS3012-BTS3012AE”for 2G and NodeB “BTS3018” for 3G from site and from OMC including:
Faults troubleshooting.
Alarm Management.
Configuration Management.
Network Performance Management.
Install, Commission and Configure BSS (BTS for 2G&3G / BSC) equipments.
Troubleshooting for BSS/RNC and Transmission (Microwave and leased line).
BSC Running Diagnosis.
Software up gradation.
Providing the BTS/NodeB and BSC technical support.
Connect the new sites to the BSC for 2G and to RNC for 3G and support the field engineers to finish the integration process.
Measure the usage of Delta region BSCs and make the plan of the expansion.
Installation, commissioning for HUAWEI equipments BSC6000, PCU, OptiX, PDF and Synlock cabinets.
Have the experience of transmission (planning - Installation and commissioning of point to point MW equipments - sites connections - maintenance) for “PDH - SDH - Telecom Egypt E1s and STM1s).
Creation & Integration for 2G sites (indoor & outdoor cabinet) on BSC's by LMT (Local maintenance terminal).
Install software configuration for sites & create sectors and assign the frequency for each one also upgrade software configuration.
Upgrade software version for BTS3012 (indoor cabinet) & BTS3012AE (outdoor cabinet) for all modules in BTS cabinet.
Determine E1 port for sites on different BSC's and make Cutover and Migration for sites from BSC to another also from E1 port to another and Migration for BSC from MSC to another.
Check BER & OML status for sites.
Analyses alarms which appears on BTS's & BSC's and find out suitable solutions.
Handle alarms with Field maintenance engineer.
Implement OMC Database change for all the Network Parameters.

o Installation and maintenance of Motorola BTS's & Micro-cells cabinets
o Make TX & RX calibration of Motorola BTS's and finding out good solutions (MCell 6, Horizon Macro, Horizon 2 " 900 MHz & 1800 MHz ")
o Commissioning of Motorola BTS & Micro-cell cabinets
o Perform diagnostic check, re-configuration, upgrade and downgrade BTS radios for fault clearing.
o Good understanding of BTS coverage, Transmission routing, GSM network backbone and line of sight problems
o Strong knowledge with GSM principles, Architecture and infrastructure (Motorola and Alcatel)
o Familiar with Siemens and Ericsson equipments
o Strong knowledge with ATM and 3G technologies "principles, Architecture and infrastructure"
o Cooperation in Network Optimization, Network planning, RF and Antenna engineering
o Installation, Alignment and Maintenance of Microwave links (Alcatel, Nokia, Sagem and NEC).
o Installation, operation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of 2Mbps Microwave equipment
o Good Knowledge of Microwave systems, Map study and preparation of path profiles.
o Experience in Routing and connecting New Sites to the BSC
o Testing equipment to establish faults down to unit leve l. Using testing equipments such as digital analyzer, BER tester, power meters.
o Transmission Systems: Microwave PDH (Nokia Flexi-Hopper, Alcatel A9400UX, NEC Microwave links and Sagem.
o Installing and maintain Rectifiers "Ascom - Lorain - Delta - Saft ".
o Make Corrective and Preventive maintenance for Mobile station including: Shelters, Antennas and power systems
