Roles & Responsibilities:
Leading DBA Team, Project manager for upgrading Oracle EBS 12.1.3 to 12.2.4
- Facilitate projects issues resolution and resolve conflicts as and when they arise.
- Ensure that initiatives align with business strategies.
- Reviewing the demand and collating it for planning and discussion with domain teams.
Filtering and prioritizing the demand before submission to IT teams
Technical Skills:
E-business suite versions (12.1, 12.2)
Apps environment including installation, administration, maintenance, upgrades,
(autoconfig, adpatch, adop -online patching) .
Applications cloning R12.1.3 (manual clone using hot backup, rapid clone, Storage clone)
troubleshooting Apache, Forms, Concurrent Manager, login and database related issues
Experience on patch analysis of application patches including (CPU patch, rollup patch,
maintenance patch and one-off patch).
Experience in taking Physical Backup and RMAN
Performance tuning for database
Good exposure of using Oracle performance tools like AWR/ADDM, TKPROF, SQL Trace.
Database upgrading 11GR2 to 12c
Monitoring tablespace free spaces, re-sizing data files, Alert log, trace files.
Installing and integrate Oracle E-business suite applications with Endeca
Active Data Guard implementation
Fair knowledge in WebLogic administration
Responsible for upgrading from 12.1.3 to 12.2.4 on AIX 6.1
Support IT and business on production incidents
Implemented Disaster recovery plan
Responsible for Data backup schedules (Incremental & deferential & normal), (regular &
critical) on time basis (Monthly - Weekly - daily).
Working as a member in Application Technology Group/ Installation & Configuration Management to support Oracle’s customers globally, and to manage, and resolve Service Requests (SR’s) logged by customers (internally, and externally) on Oracle products. As well as contribute to proactive support activities according to support strategy model, and strategy.
