• Carrying out substation maintenance (routine, emergency, predictive) for all equipment of AIS and GIS substations with different voltage levels (11 KV, 66 KV, 220 KV, 500 KV).
• supervised installation of substation equipment like power transformers, CTs, VTs, CBs, 11 KV switchgears like (ABB, EMAS, and EGEMAC) types and power cables laid according to the Egyption standard specifications.
• I have high experience in installing power cable end terminations and joints.
• Carrying out power transformer and tap changer required site maintenance and applying all site tests (DC winding resistance, winding ratio, Tan delta, Megger test, short circuit test, open load test, Zero sequence test, oil break down test).
• Carrying out all site tests of CT, VT, CBs, Capacitor-bank and surge arrestor tests
• Carrying out high voltage tests on AIS and GIS substations HV/EHV .
• Carrying out all cable tests like (high voltage tests, insulation resistance tests, sheath high voltage tests, conductor resistance tests) and power cable fault detection.
• Conducting scheme audits on all control and protection panels
• preparing reports, arranging the required work, and distributing tasks to my work team to ensure the ease, speed, and quality of finishing work .
• I worked as a testing and commissining consultant engineer for Saudi Electrical Company, where my role was:
• I was working as a team leader for a CSD team, which was assigned to lead, guide, and distribute activities to my team; follow progress according to the CSD work sheet plan; report the progress of work to my managers and Specifying snag points and providing NCR report to the contractor to solve stuck problems
• In addition to visual inspection of substation equipment, inspects HV substation installations to ensure they are properly installed and commissioned and meet Saudi Electrical Company specifications.
• Attending and witnessing testing and commissining of HV substation equipment and other miscellaneous items installed in the HV substations like high voltage GIS systems and high voltage AIS systems, power transformers, MV SWG, underground electrical installations such as cable and ground grid, and assures that test results meet the standard results and gives approval of its validity to enter the service .
• Attend and witness field-testing of power control and protection systems installed on above-mentioned electrical equipment like (simple relays and advanced relays ) and control units like (ACCS, RTCC, ABTS, Synchronizing system, under voltage and under frequency systems) and assure that they are reliable by giving approval for their validity to enter the service.
• Reviewing relays' final settings and making modifications if needed after having approval from the PED sector and witnessing the final setting test for relays .
• Examine the SAS system and run open and close loop tests for alarm, command, and event signals.
• reviews control and protection drawings schematics to determine if the design is within the scope, applicable codes and standards and applies modifications to schemes if needed to get high performance.
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on various types of power transformers \[220/66/11 KV (125MVA)-66/11 KV (20MVA, 25 MVA & 40 MVA)\].
• Carrying out predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance to power transformers on load tap changers like (MR types, ABB types, ASIA types, etc.) and other different types
• I Powered by rehabilitating damaged transformers to return them to the grid by replacing the damaged parts like (low and high voltage windings, tap changers, bushings, internal terminals, and damaged contact points).
• Also, make reclamation of the transformer oil by reclamation plants.
• Applying power transformer site tests after any maintenance to be sure that the transformer is ready to enter service
• Bring the moving part (selector part) out and clean the moving and stator contact points by removing any residual sludge in contacts and replacing the old OLTC oil with other new OLTC oil.
• Attending and witnessing power transformer testing in factories and making installation of transformers on sites
• Fault assessment and analysis for power transformers

I worked for 2 years as a Power cable production engineer; I worked in all sections related to power cable production beginning with low tension cable to high tension cables. I was powered by monitoring the production lines, distribution and organization of work and solving problems concerned with the production
