The Geozone Quality Manager role is responsible for collaborating with the Geozone VP and region team, the Product Lines, and the Service Delivery function to guide our overall Quality efforts. Leads multiproduct lines reliability programs within the functional area. Provides expertise and leadership to predict, prevent and eliminate or reduce equipment and service failures through application of reliability techniques. Provide technical support in the elimination of loss, risk management and preventive maintenance optimization. Monitors failure/incident data to ascertain potential requirements for product or service improvement, conducts failure investigations, determines root cause, and proposes corrective actions and implements solutions. Mentor other engineers on the Root Cause & Failure Analysis (RCFA) process.

•Develop conceptual drawings, layouts and prepare calculations and design packages for oil field down hole tools design
•Perform Engineering tasks using established procedures, including but not limited to, stress analysis, material selection, cost estimation and tolerance studies.
•Global Trainer/Instructor for Carbide applications in Weatherford Oil tools.
•Assist in defining the appropriate quality control requirements and develop content for assembly instructions, operators’ manuals and other technical documents.
•Conduct experimental and validation tests to ensure that products meet design requirements
•Ensure that Quality standards are fully integrated in all materials and activties, and the company Health and Safety practices are fully integrated in all activities.
•Perform failure analysis and as required, make improvements in product design or operational guidelines to prevent future problems. Conduct development projects in accordance with the internal stage gate development process
•Coordinate the manufacturing and assembly of prototypes.
•Coordinates all activities associated with technical developments, scheduling, budgeting, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
• Assists others with all engineering activities to include working within the Product Development Process.
