• Record & classify assets (Fixed and Biological) by assigning useful life and usage date in order to run the depreciation/ amortization periodically at month end as per IFRS.
• Month end AP/AR accounts reconciliation and Ageing.
• Monitoring and verification of receipts from third party sellers (booking.com, Group on, Cob one, Agoda and Entertainer)
• Reconciliation of inter-company accounts.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records
• Create recurring journal of prepayments i.e. Staff & Vehicles insurances, & prepaid rents and run JV at month end in order to charge expense figure.
• Prepare loan payment schedule in details (Separation of current, long term and interest)
• Month end account finalization and preparation of reconciliation reports for Management.
• Liaison with external auditor in assurance engagements.
• Verifying bank reconciliation and Adjustments.
• Verifying postings of employee leave balances/final settlements as per UAE labor law and company policies
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns Quarterly for Group
• Monitoring supplier’s payments as per agreed credit terms via online bank transfer / Cheque through approval procedures via ADCB online business banking.
