Managing a program of 1.8 BSAR of electrical substations within KSA and Bahrain plus OHTL projects.
my work was in direct contact with Aramco and SEC and EWA. lead a team of senior planners to plan monitor and control the projects to update the higher management and stockholders with the performance and progress measures needed.
* Managing EPC works for construction of 25 MVA electrical MV/LV network feeding the whole construction phases for the project.
* Design and construction management for earthing and lightning system for electrical construction.
* Managing a team of 60 personnels (Engineers, Formen and electricians) plus 6 subcontractors for electrical construction works.
* Supervising and supporting procurement works for materials and service providers.
* Managing consultant comments and observations and ensuring the highest quality levels for works performed.
* Managing safety consultant comments and observations and ensuring the highest safety levels in working environment.
* Managing civil defence and emergency requirements.
* Managing maintenance works for generation ower pants and RMUs and transformers plus normal inspections for MV/ LV cables and panel boards.
The project consists of a large Podium spread on all the site, topped by 12 Towers accommodating several elements with a total built up area of around 1.5 million m2.The podium includes the water tanks, TSE collection tanks, Grey Water Treatment Plant, Grey Water Equalizer tank, Boilers, Electric Commercial Water Heaters, Centrifugal Water Chillers, Ecology Units, Domestic Water Softners, Medium Voltage Transformers, Hydronic pumps, Water pumps, Fire pumps and etc., for the MEP services in the building.
ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES:
1) Review and understand all relevant documents and conditions pertaining to the project.
2) Attend the formal meetings with Consultant and client to present the project status and critical risks and present their several influences over the whole project.
3) Establish and define any job oriented project control procedures and identify the level of resources required to operate them.
4) Develop in conjunction with the project manager and client a suitable work breakdown structure for the project.
5) Review overall project status with the project control team and PM and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
6) Ensure that all engineering, procurement, construction and finance reports are prepared and issued in accordance with the project coordination procedure.
7) Liaise with other departments at all meetings relevant to project operations and ensure that the time and cost plans are updated to reflect latest information.
• Running Existing portfolio of 500MSR with a team of 9 project managers and 15 Engineers and 120 technician and foreman.
• Starting 132KV over head transmission lines construction program with 90 MSR value and planning the manpower, equipments and subcontractors teams.
. Follow up the program execution plans versus actual performance and budgets.
. Assure customer satisfaction plus complying the quality and safety standards.
. Supporting projects teams with third parties services to assure the program execution in time and budget and quality.
Helps in all technical, Legal and financial issues for El sewedy Electric (Egypt) Program of 300 M$.
• Establish new program based on a local profile and Sudanese banks funds and succeeded to help in winning more than 70MSDG funds from local banks and outsourced.
• Build a strong Business development and bidding Department won funded projects by more than 200MSDG, and cash projects with more than 100 MSDG.
• Widened our working areas from two to seven governorates.
• Modify the company strategy to increase the profitability over 20%.
• Widened the company scope from MV and LV distribution networks to HV transmission networks with SETC.
• Start to contribute in wind generation tenders in Nyala, Northern and Port Sudan Governorates.
• Supervising a team of five planners and three cost controllers and three material controllers and eleven project managers.
• Managing a program of 500 MUSD in seven different countries.
• Establish Program plans with corporation with other Depts.
• Establish the program budget plus the sites budgets as well.
• Make the Programs material plans, time schedules, resource planning and cash flow management plan.
• Follow up technical submittals, procurement and logistics activities and establish the appropriate risk plans.
• Follow up sites works including Regular sites visits.
• Make Sites analysis and accompanied reports including scrap management and collections follow up.
