I am the Corporate Head of Security for GLA Management Company across Kuwait region, reporting to the COO of the company.

GLA Property Management is a professional retail real estate firm managing 1.4 million sq.ft of retail real estate for the Tamdeen shopping centers co. k.s.c.c in Kuwait. an additional 1 million sq.ft of retail real estate is in the development pipeline.

I am in charge of the Security Division all over the properties of Tamdeen managed by GLA, currently leading the Security departments in 5 properties, including two huge high end shopping centers, preparing for the soon opening of other two huge shopping malls, two medium shopping centers, international sports center, Tamdeen Square project which is going to be a large residential and shopping facility.

I am in charge of managing and submitting the budget for the security department across the company, review and assess the training needs and training plans for the security personnel, review and evaluate the design of the Security Management Systems with the concerned consultants, review and update the SRA for the company’s properties, conduct the periodical audits for the security systems and procedures across the company’s properties, attend the regular meetings with management and the owners.

I was the Security Manager of EcovertFM Kuwait, assigned at Al Hamra Business Tower and Luxury Center, which is the highest Skyscraper in Kuwait, and the Highest Sculpted Skyscraper in the world, of 414 m height, 80 stories of the Business Tower, and Luxury Center of 4 floors and 80 shops of the highest end of brands in the world and Grand Cinema, and 11 floors of Car Park of capacity up to 1800 cars.
The business tower has different business companies, including two large Spas, international Clinic, Ministry of Information in 4 floors, Kuwait Stock Exchange department, The French Embassy and the German Embassy, and several other multinational companies.
I was responsible for handling all Security related issues with the tenants, employees or customers.
Submit risk Assessment plans for the project and communicate it with the management.
Conducting training sessions for all Security and Non-Security employees for Safety and Security Awareness
Submitting Emergency Evacuation plans and conduct the related training and drills to all tenants and employees.
Liaise with the local authorities regarding all Security related issues.

I was the Director of Security at the Four Seasons - Cairo Nile Plaza Hotel, responsible for the Security team securing the three towers of the complex: the Hotel, the plaza and the residential tower.
I was responsible for establishing the Hotel Security Plan, Emergency Plans, Crisis Management Plans, Evacuation Plans, Risk Assessment, and Training Plan for the Security Employees and the Non - Security Staff, and all other required plans.
Carrying out all required investigations and handling guest complaints.
Managing all the events held at the hotel and attend the required meeting with the Security agencies.
Coordinate with the security authorities regarding the visits of the VIPs, political and business conferences.

I was the Director of Security of Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh, responsible for the safety and security of the property, guests and the staff of the resort.

I have been selected to be in the International Police Mission in Kosovo, for training the local police of Kosovo, as a United Nations Mission there.

From April 2003 to October 2003, used to work in the KPS (Kosovo Police Service) Training Department, started as a general instructor till I was the Training Supervisor, where I was supervising and leading 67 International Police officers from 51 countries, and 50 Local Instructors and 23 language assistants.
I was in charge of creating new lesson plans in accordance with the Training needs, evaluating the old lesson plans, representing the Training Department in the meetings with the other agencies and units, teaching and giving lessons and lectures for the new arrivals in the mission from the international police contingents in the PTC (Police Training Center) and for the Local police in the KPSS (Kosovo Police Service School)

From October 2003 to December 2003, I used to work as the Deputy Chief of Secondary Employment Unit, which is responsible for contracting with other Agencies, Embassies,
Ministries, and Private companies for the security of these places as secondary job for the KPS all over Kosovo.
I used to attend meetings, together with the chief of the unit or by myself during his absence, with Ministers of the ministries need security, representatives of foreign countries for the security of their embassies, and managers of companies.


From December 2003 to April 2005, I used to work in RSCS (the Regional Serious Crimes Squad) in Pristina, started as a team member, and from June 2004 I was the Team Leader for Team A, which was responsible for investigations of Explosions, Kidnapping, Arsons and Extortion cases till April 2005.

During this period of time in RSCS I attended many different types of incidents scenes, to investigate or to help my team in investigating these cases, such as Murder, Attempted Murder, Robbery, Arson, Armed Robbery, Explosions, kidnapping, Burglary, Rape, Extortion, ….etc. and the most important one was the attempting murder case of the President of Kosovo Ebrahim Rugova.
I used to attend meeting and liaise with KFOR, KOCB, CCIU, CIU, CTTF, Team 6 and other investigation units within the Region.

I have been selected to be one of the Egyptian Contingent members in Angola representing Egypt in the United Nations Mission in Angola.
