• Promoted the adoption of localised materials and supply chain solutions, supporting national
capability building, reduced dependency on imported materials, and stronger alignment with Saudi
Arabias broader localisation and sustainability objectives. I led the introduction and adoption of
innovative construction materials, including glass fibre reinforced polymer rebar, with a focus on
durability, corrosion resistance, sustainability, and long-term infrastructure performance. This is
now used in several projects across NEOM, including Albadaa Wetland Project, D&C Innovation
hub and Aljihaz Saudi Electric Substation near Oxagon.
• Led the design and review of the first building code for Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP)
rebar in KSA, namely SBC3 11.
• Delivered the renovations of the Design and Construction Innovation Hub, which involved leading
the design phase, and then the execution on site, whilst managing project progress and budget
requirements. I managed to save our sector over 400, 000 SAR due to optimised material selection,
effective resource utilization, efficient contract administration and delivery ahead of schedule.
• Built strong internal and external relationships across designers, technical teams, delivery partners,
regulators, government bodies, and industry stakeholders across the Kingdom to move complex
initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Established an effective implementation process to overcome organisational and technical barriers,
and to enable deployment and scale up of emerging tech and materials across construction projects
in NEOM, resulting in 85% scale up of all initiatives piloted.
• Led the business case and sector strategy development that aligned with national KPIs on research
and development in design and construction.
• Unlocked use of durable materials and technologies in NEOM, including Geofoam, Composite

• Managing overall daily site activities and coordinating between different contractors.
