Participate in projects of various types - RO water treatment plants, STPs, pump stations in municipal
infrastructure, private development, industrial and oil & gas sectors in the Middle East and one project in
Australia
Conduct comprehensive review of client’s project documents including technical & contractual specifications
and ensure compliance of all submitted deliverables.
Thoroughly review information in customer enquiry/Request for Process Design and verify all engineering
deliverables like P&IDs, PFDs and process control philosophies as well as vendor drawings & documents
Execute basic hydraulic calculations assuring integrity of piping routing with process requirements
Manage all activities related to preparation & review of detailed engineering deliverables - overall plot plans,
plot pans, piping key plans, piping construction GADs, piping demolition GADs, piping sections & support
details and piping isometrics and bills of materials (BOM) for piping & supports conforming to applicable
codes & standards
Liaise with project, process, proposal, electrical & civil engineers in smooth design implementation and
conduct required deign checks & verifications
Coordinate with mechanical team leader regarding design reviews of piping systems & construction manager
for fabrication, installation & testing of piping systems.
Prepare & review overall 3D models for piping layouts for various project packages.
Prepare piping BOQs and follow up procurement including review of purchase orders (PO) to ensure
compliance with technical requirements & agreed specifications of the projects
Participate in technical discussions with other disciplines, client & consultants and record all comments &
clarifications needed for successful fulfilment of project requirements.
Support site engineers in meting critical deadlines by providing technical clarifications & sketches for
installation and successful completion of projects.
Participate in risk assessments & HAZOP studies to identify and mitigate project risks and hazards across the
project lifecycle.
Support pre‐commissioning & commissioning teams in troubleshooting issues, clearing punch point, as‐built
documentation and handing over projects to clients
