Attached the new Rebar rolling plant RM3 in Suez Steel Company. In 2018suez steel
company started a new rolling mill plant construction. The capacity is 1, 400, 000 ton. I
attend the installation of the electrical equipment. Helping construction group to avoid
none standard installation of any equipment. Also sharing and confirming all pre-
commissioning tests (MV tests, Optical fiber testes, Cables…ETC).
2. Commission started in April 2019 and almost of profiles commissioning finished. I am
following the automation sequence with Danieli automation group.
3. After plant started, I start a new mission to make auditing for all plants of the company (2
melt shop, DRI and 2 rolling mills) to take the consumption of these plants in automatic
way. I begin to connect the power meters to the plc and read the data automatically. Also
added these data in new database created by me.
4. For substation I installed new PLC and create new scada system for all MV panels (including
Protection relays alarms and feedbacks of CB, also power meters reading added to HMI
and sent it daily to authorized persons). Also feedback of all transformers added to HMI
with alarms.
5. Working now with SAP team to implement SAP for the company for all modules. Under my
responsibility during project execution are automated data for all plants preparation,
besides taking the responsibility for using advanced cloud solutions (Like business
intelligence and machine learning).
6. Started the integration between SAP and Danieli Level 2 for production plan module.
7. Preparing all missing data in level 2 to be integrated with SAP, therefore I created database
for that missing data to be integrated with SAP.
8. Prepared infrastructure network for all production networks that will be integrated with
SAP.

Automation and electrical department manager at Beshay steel company

Company wanted to make new water treatment plant to enable our plant to produce rebar
and me who take this responsibility to finalize the plant with MM department. Therefore
we requested the required component and installed it then finalize the software and HMI.
We installed different rated soft starters and adjusting their parameters. We had zero
electrical failure during commissioning. The plant running now in automatic mode. This
project is totally beshay scope.
2. Finalized two new generators commissioning until working in automatic mode without
costing the company any money.
3. During all Danieli modification in the plant, we tried to finalize what we can before they
come to minimize the existing duration of Danieli automation engineer in the site to
minimize the cost money.
4. All the time we focus in the mill line and do the modifications to minimize the down time
and increasing the productivity as a result.
5. All the time we make Presentation to production department to helps them to use OWS
parameters in the correct way.
6. Add new work instruction to our old work instruction file and make video for old work
instruction to make it easy applying for engineers and made new work instruction file to
technicians in Arabic.
7. Study the batteries life time increasing and prepare it in presentation and sent it to all
electrical managers in the company.
8. Perform a periodic simulation check for fire alarm system to ensure system efficiency.
9. All the time we make training to Engineers and Technicians in the existing shortage
technical items.
Following the spare part with purchasing department, in my point of view not only I should
have spare parts for any electrical component can stop the plant in case of the failure, but
also I will success if I don’t use it by keeping the installed working very well without any
damage and deal with it in the correct way to increase its life time.
11. Try to keep accidents level at zero by continues stress on safety instructions through all
electrical tasks.
12. Make step up of all employee under me by make more training to them and stress in how
engineers can read and follow the stander in our electrical jobs.
13. Increasing the conscious of engineers and technicians related to how to increase the life
time of our equipment which led to less use of spare parts which led to more cost wise.
14. Follow all PRD and MM problems that can be overcome by electrical modifications.
15. Follow ISO in all jobs as we can.
