Procurement Engineer
• Studing and compliling of BOQ, specs & specified vendor’s list for each item .
• Issue RFQ, receive bids and prepare comparison analysis sheet.
• Negotiate with suppliers & sub-contractors on price, delivery period and payment terms.
• Prepare purchase order terms and conditions .
• Arrange technical meetings between suppliers, Sub contractors and site engineers to solve any problem related to delivery, approvals and certifications issues.
• Collecting of perrforma invoice, discuss of incoterms with suppliers to arrange the LC facility.
• Follow with accounts for arrangement of LC facility for suppliers.
Senior Procurement & Contracts Engineer
• Well studing of Specs, drawings, BOQ and send clarification on un clear issues .
• Propose materials source, suppliers and sub contractors which are in compliance with each project requirements.
• Arrange and collect all materials and subcontractor submittals, samples and technical informations for taking approval before submitting to the owner for final approval .
• Follow up approval with the owner, reply on comments if any .
• Coordinate with suppliers and sub contractors for resubmitting after modifing owner comments .
• Issue purchase order and sub contractor aggrement, being sure that the materials are from approved source and comply with the project specs .
• Follow up on materials delivery
Procurement & Contracts Team Leader Engineer
• Manage complex bid process including vendors to be solicited, requests for proposals, evaluation of returned proposals, selection of vendors and award of contracts, ensure fair and open competition.
• Write and analyze complex requests for proposal and prepare recommendations that are legal, ethical and demonstrate best value to the organization.
• Coordinate with the Project Managers for completing the Procurement Schedule.
• Complete and update the Procurement Plan and ensure it is regularly updated.
• Coordinate and consolidate requests for permanent materials among multiple projects to negotiate the most advantageous terms
• Assist the manager in preparation of Reports and presentation of the procurement department reviews- " Annual Operational Reports", "Operating Budget" and agenda.
Head of Procurement and Contracts
• Manage the development of departmental objectives, policies and procedures pertaining to procurement.
• Manage the Procurement function ensuring that all procurement activities are completed in a timely manner and that all contracts are drafted in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws.
• Manage the overall performance of the Procurement team and the work delegation amongst the one team members.
• Plan annual budjet and procurement plan for all projects in the department .
• Control Procurement budget for all projects in the department .
• Provide top Management with regular reports on savings and opportunities obtained
• Resolve disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers
• Create and refine internal workflows and processes e.g. receiving request, placing orders, shipping and receiving items, system entries and etc.
• Monitor the preparation and issuance of RFPs and RFQs ensuring at all times that scope of works is detailed and in line with business requirements.
• Monitor payments of vendors, coordinating with accounts department to resolve payment issues.
• Review Contracts, negotiate prices and check on terms and conditions .
• Create and promote a safe working enviroment .
