Responsible for the development and marketing of Bitumen, Modified Bitumen, Cutback and Emulsions in Abudahbi, North Emirates, East Africa and Qatar Including Roads Contractors, Asphalt Plants and Downstream Oil Marketers .
Provide Leadership, control and oversight for Richmond Business in the assigned markets and Coordinate with other offices for developing long term relationship with Road Contractors and Bitumen traders in the assigned regions.
Manage costing for commercial sales& develop marketing techniques for enhancing the group’s sales.
Identify, develop and drive Business opportunities of non-Bitumen Business in the assigned regions & Lead sales opportunities in the Markets.
•Build and Develop relationship with key suppliers and customers
•Manage and organize all aspects of staffing, base oil and additive purchasing, Lubricants blending, filling and packing activities, Shipping and delivery to customers, as well as opening new markets for MOXOL brand.
•Manage, coach and train all lubricants division staff.
Drum bitumen direct selling to East Africa region
• Provide continuous Marketing support to sales team by designing and executing tailored segments marketing plan.
• Control Libya Oil brand management as per the Brand Manual.
• Support the business by performing the required Marketing Intelligence activities.
• Develop and inspire Marketing & Business Development staff towards unlocking their full potential and aligning individual goals to those of the company.
• Provide leadership in the design and implementation of business plans and products/ so-lutions/ programs.
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the product offering and being able to articulate unique selling points to key decision makers within target businesses.
• Manage lead generation and market awareness programs.
• Maintain an effective marketing intelligence repository tool for managerial decision mak-ing.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Generate new alternative profit opportunities in line with sales targets; and to effectively optimization on the existing assets. Target acquisitions (unbranded DODOs and flag switches) and negotiate contracts.
• Lead the company’s business brand strategies, brand value creation engagements, support and internalization in view of attaining and maintaining a desirable market share and sustainable business impact through formidable corporate, product & service brands eq-uity and positioning.
• Leverage and align resources with engineering & technical, accounting & finance, supply & distribution and other business partner to deliver the breadth and depth of products and services.
• Provide the business with timely marketing analysis, business proposal support and re-ports.
Monitor, evaluate and provide economics for new and existing project/ programs.
Embrace both customer and Shell requirements for greater understanding between all parties and improved business performance via training and marketing. Achieve within the defined Customer base, financial, volume and other related business plan targets for products and services, as specified within the sector business plan. Develop strong working relationships with customers at all levels, to sell-in and implement the agreed business strategy and partnerships (lubes) programmed. Identify and pursue all opportunities to trade up and cross-sell at all levels. Creating greater profit opportunities for the customer and Shell and thus creating a barrier to entry for the competition. Manage the development and implementation of marketing propositions at all levels, ensuring that they are tailored to the needs of customers and developing CVPs, thus enhancing the profitability of the business for both the customer and Shell. - Qualify and follow up leads from sales and delivery teams. To develop business plans for all customers. These plans will provide clear targets and objectives that will allow Shell to monitor performance against plan. Ensure the appropriate financial system is maintained & controlled. Ensure all transactions are accounted for. Maintain Cash Flow. Prepare payment and receipt vouches. Record all transactions in orderly manner .Analyses phone bill (administrative overheads) .Manage the purchases. Oversee all administrative, filling records. Exercise managerial and supervisory control over all logistics support required. Develop, prepare, coordinate and monitor overall logistic support plans including logistics forecasting, supply schedules, priorities or requirements, and resolution of urgent operational needs .
