- Prepares a monthly cost report showing the possible savings or overruns for all project cost disciplines against the project budget..
- Updates the project cash flow diagram among the concerning team..
- Prepares and distributes cost allocation lists to all site supervisors and time keepers to guide them for proper cost allocations, and ensures a close monitoring is being implemented by all Department heads.
- Updates budget at forecast quantity and forecast cost periodically based on the actual project situation.
- Highlights any major cost variances and advises the project management and other respective site staff for their timely corrective actions.
- Reflects the impact of change orders on project budget periodically.
- Observes site operations, compares with budget, suggests comments and reflects the project performance in the forecast calculations.
- Checks all project invoices, all other project cost documents and makes sure to avoid misallocations.
- Coordinates with sub-contracts department to avoid cost impact terms in sub-contracts under preparation
- Gives a realistic cost-related feedback that should help in estimating similar projects.
- Assists in compiling and preparing various completion reports and history cards as required.
