• Controls effectively administrative and personnel policies which will enable the company to attract and retain suitably qualified staff.
• Recruiting staff, developing & updating job descriptions, and preparing recruitment advertisements, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates.
• Advising on pay and other remuneration issues including promotion and benefits. Undertaking regular and annual salary reviews.
• Administrating and checking monthly payroll.
• Advising on HR policy and Kuwait employment Law that might impact on working practices to ensure compliance & provides an advisory service to Managers on all personnel issues.
• Prepares annual leave plan & handles calculation and payment of all leave categories and holidays; annual leave, emergency leave, sick leave, special leave, maternity leave, and public holidays.
• Ensures that each employee who has completed the probation period gets legal contract and transfer of his sponsorship on the company is done.
• Prepares leave account, indemnities of terminated employees, finalize their formalities and follow up on transfer of sponsorship or exist as the case may be.
• Conduct a yearly performance appraisal for all staff; distribute forms and guidelines to all line managers, monitor the administration of the appraisal system, collect forms & analyze collected data for each employee & determine employee performance level.
• Analyzing training needs & preparing training plan in conjunction with line managers & performance appraisal results.
• Maintains personal files and update them by keeping the necessary documents which are important.
• Maintains and updates records in relation to employee’s vacation, sickness, residency permits, etc. & provide statistical data as required.
• Handles life insurance of employees, insurance for company vehicles, fire, fidelity, cash in transit, goods in transit etc. In coordination with the General Manager and ensures proper coverage against all risks.
• Enforce strict discipline with regard to punctuality in attending office.
• Takes on various HR functions as well as works on specified projects as required.
• Insures accuracy and confidentially of HR data.
• Write Publish, and distribute company personnel policies and manuals on issues such as working conditions, performance management, and disciplinary procedures, ensure compliance and provides employees with complete information regarding policies, procedures and labor law.
• Review all employee benefit programs, including management compensation plans, and make recommendations to the director. Implement upon approval.
• Prepare statistical and written report as requested.
