Accountable for purchasing complex engineered materials, parts, products, and equipment to service support of Upstream and Midstream onshore oilfield operations.
Prepare and issue of procurement plans, contracting strategy and obtain necessary approvals.
•Responsible for tender preparation, negotiation and final contract award.
•Appraise of new suppliers by conducting Prequalification questionnaires for approved vendors list.
• Executing of Purchase Requisition “PR” generated requirements by way of Purchase/Service Order.
•Strategic sourcing of goods, suppliers and potential alternatives in accordance with relevant procurement policies, procedures and regulations.
•Prepare, manage and Post of many types of inquiry (RFQ, RFP, RFI, and ITT documents) /tender packages to suitable suppliers and/or (major OEMs) to obtain best value quotation/proposal with technical details, Specs and catalogues to facilitate technical and commercial evaluation bids.
•Obtaining information about new products and services within the oil and gas industry.
•Apply of the “4C” negotiation strategies to improve prices discount, terms, conditions, solutions and contract with suppliers in order to meet specified a high level of quality acceptance, Service, bid competitiveness and best -value agreements.
Clarify of discrepancies and/or difficulties among end-users, shareholders, contractors & Suppliers.
•PO amendment by Change-Order compliance with procurement strategy and policy.
•Implement and manage of long-term pricing / purchase agreement through blanket order.
•Expediting critical project materials for timely delivery to final destination to meet demanding, deadlines and scheduled need dates “procuring materials Just In Time (JIT)”.
•Develop alternate sources and/or risk mitigation plans for single source basis.
•Liaise with legal dept to ensure that contract terms and conditions are legally applicable.
•Providing assistance to accounts payable in the processing of invoices and resolving invoice queries/disputes.
•Maintain existing vendor relationship and initiate potential new vendor relationship continuously improves supplier performance and relationships through a documented and quantitative supplier evaluation program.
•Perform continual market analysis/survey and monitor supplier’s progress.
•Support of inventory Management, optimization and accuracy.
•Provide daily, weekly and monthly procurement status reports.
•Ensure agreed objectives and targets are achieved.
