Managing the Legal affairs of more than 48 companies in more than 48 countries around the globe through a team of lawyers with different backgrounds, cultures and experiences located in the headquarters in Egypt as well as local in-house lawyers and outside counsels in every jurisdiction.
Contracts:
1. Negotiating cross-borders contracts.
2. Drafting, reviewing and advising for contracts/agreements. (Commercial Contracts, Joint ventures, Commercial agencies, Distribution agreements, Employment / compliance law).
3. Negotiating and Registering exclusive commercial agencies contracts in Egypt.
4. Drafting company's policies in accordance with the current laws, decrees and regulations.
Incorporation:
1. Evaluating and advising on the legal risk associated with business operations / opportunities.
2. Ensuring the legal compliance of the companies’ operations with laws and regulations.
3. Developing legal strategies and plans
4. Incorporation of companies in Egypt and abroad.
Intellectual property:
1. Crafting an Intellectual Property strategy
2. Preparing, Filing, follow up and managing trademarks and industrial designs domestic and international applications
Litigation/ General tasks:
1. Resolving disputes/ Litigation.
2. Executing legal tasks with Banks, the Public Notary Office, Commercial registry, and social insurance, public registry of deeds, employment offices, the general agency for Investment and Free zones, and other public authorities.
3. Supervising annual Inventory committees.
4. Conducting internal investigations.
5. Pursuing legal procedures in connection with commercial fraud cases and IP infringements.
6. Supervising the standardization of new imported products according to the Egyptian authorities’ standards.
7. In charge of coordinating and carrying out special tasks that requires precession and compliance with a strict time frame. (E.g. Establishment of new multinational companies and acquisition of companies and factories).
